for the last few years i've been on a kick of "ethernet seems the most similar to firewire" especially for audio with every node on the network being a peer (instead of host-device like USB and thunderbolt), full duplex communication and every node also potentially acting as a switch. also using basically the same cable (eventually with the same termination even but that came later and is mostly just in aircraft).

then last night i ran into this article, and it's basically like "yeah it's the same guys carrying over some of the same protocols" anyway shout out to those guys, hope to get into more of your stuff soon.

Final India Post (I think I'm finally back)

Nearly every day, I hear myself say “I just got back from India.” That’s how profound an experience it was.

It’s amazing that a 3 week trip took over 5 weeks to process, at least photographically, down from around 4000 to 794. Here’s the entire collection: https://www.flickr.com/photos/mosaicmarjmedia/collections/72157651960063371/ for those of you who wanted to wait to look at one large bunch. It’s broken down into cities. Most of the stories made it in here, but they’re a little more contextualized in this here blog. Thanks for coming along for this journey with me.

My photography really grew on this trip and one truly awesome thing to come out of it is that 10 of my India portraits will be part of a group exhibit on Governor’s Island this summer with the Art of Intuitive Photography group! That’s how fast things can happen when you follow your heart.

I think I’ll still be mulling over India in my heart for a while, but for now at least the photos are wrapped, because part of me needs to move onto what’s next.
