Hello Tumblr, looks like I’m back. My name is Andy and I’m a 31 year old queer nerd. I’m into cosplay, larp, miniature painting, and I run a podcast network with my husband Evin & friend Ronnie called Where They May Radio.
So I had a tumblr from 2010-2016. My last post on it was of this cosplay. I had recently come out as gay to my family and they uhhh were not happy about it. I had not mentioned my gender identity annnnd yet they had found these pictures and confronted me. I felt really violated and unsafe that they had found them. And it turned out a “friend” had sent them the link. So I deleted the tumblr and focused on twitter which I had more privacy on.
With twitter becoming an absolute mess though I’ve decided to come back here. It felt appropriate to have my first post be the Cinderella cosplay again. A lot has changed since 2016. Im not afraid anymore and I am far less ashamed of the things that bring me joy.
