The human form was always vulnerable to many dangers from the world. Yagen mused on that frequently as a sword who studied extensively on the human body, a separate yet very necessary subject for anyone who wishes to pick up medicine for the sake of healing those who are human, or have become human.
Despite such fragilities, it is undeniable that it is the human beings who have made this world run the way it is today. Who have given rise to many complex cultures, cultures that create various fine arts, arts that the art of sword smithing stem from. The very art that is the reason for the existence of all the toudanshis that now walk on this earth as humans themselves.
Such an amusing thought, on how the mortal and the divine are so closely interlinked. But Yagen puts such thoughts in the back of his mind now. He has a patient to take care of. “Indeed, taishou. How are you feeling now? Has rest been helpful?”
