I don’t think it would have prevented the Skyeward fandom from getting as bad as they did but I do think they perhaps wouldn’t have been so bold in harassing everyone from fans to crew if Bread himself hadn’t been loudly enouraging them at every turn

Anyway imagine if this fandom had ever cared about defending Daisy Johnson from people who shipped her with her Nazi abuser or people who victim-blamed her and excused those who treat her like shit as much as they care about going to after people who DARE to criticize Leo Fitz in posts clearly tagged anti. Imagine.

of how a certain part of fandom argued that a Nazi and serial rapist had to be redeemed because a lot of abuse victims identify with him... even though he was an abuser and his past didn’t excuse his atrocities. But no we had to let people spew Nazi apologia and pro-abuse and pro-Rape Culture arguments and be racist all they wanted, even shitting on Ward’s victims 

Anyway it’s ableist to suggest that because he’s mentally ill Shitz shouldn’t be hold responsible for the hurt he selfishly cause to others. And it’s SUPER ABLEIST to imply his mental illness is the reason he is a remorseless torturer who blames his victim.

PS. Nevermind that fandom loves ignoring Daisy is mentally ill, just like they loved ignoring she was a victim of childhood abuse like Ward. I wonder what Ward and Fitz have in common that Daisy doesn’t have...

I know, how awful that we don’t want to see a remorseless torturer who has hurt the protagonist on the show on our screens anymore. How unforgivable that we want the show to kill off a terrible white man who has justified his actions to his victims’ face and who has tried to victim-blamed her. How uncalled for that we prioritize the protagonist of the show, a woman of color, over her abuser. (Again, it’s like when people harassed us for not wanting Grant Ward in the show, cause we were being hateful or something)

Of course people can put whatever vicious lie about Daisy they want in her tags and show zero sympathy for her pain and rush to defend the people who have mistreated her like Fitz and Simmons.

But we go too far if we ask for the death of a problematic white dude in the ANTI TAGS. (and I love this flashback-to-2014 of people vague-posting about us after going into our clearly tagged blogs to put apologizing bullshit)

Anyway, keep it up with #killfitz2k18, the show will never do it, but it’s pissing off the terrible FitzSimmons fans who hate Daisy and excuse their gross opinions with ableist arguments.

idk in the imdb page for The Force Awakens Harrison Ford, Mark Hamill, Carrie Fisher AND Adam Driver are billed higher than Daisy Ridley (same with The Last Jedi, minus Harrison Ford) and I don’t see you assholes going to every Rey fan post arguing Rey is not the lead of the new trilogy
