Another thing I love about Hange: not afraid to yell at Erwin. I would absolutely be shitting myself if Erwin looked at me like that.

Armin of the day: Video game Armin
What are Bizarre Titans?
Now to those of you who have never played the Attack On Titan games, you're probably scratching your head going "what are these original character do not steal ass designs?", these are called Bizarre Titans, they appear as special enemies in both Attack On Titan Wings Of Freedom and it's sequel, Final Battle
They're just recolors and hair swaps of actual shifters, because killing the same Pure Titan's over and over again in the same way would get boring, not to mention Pure Titan AI is pretty trash
So that's the actual why they exist, they're just bosses to make the game interesting, but I can't help but ask myself "what is the in-universe explanation for the existence of these things? Where do they come from? Are they Pure Titans? They don't have a taste for human flesh, so are they shifters? Well there can't be two Armored Titans at the same time so that doesn't make sense.", just me thinking way too deep into these video game NPCs that aren't supposed to have a story, they're just meant to try and kill you, lol.
I have a few theories:
1 - They're Marley experiments, they were trying to create more shifters using the blood from their Warriors, which is why they look almost exactly like the actual shifters, but they failed to keep a leash on them, so they just dump them to Paradis.
Issue with this theory: The Jaw Titans wouldn't be Ymir clones, they'd look like Marcel. Not only that, but the Bizarre Colossal also spawns in like the actual Colossal would, they wouldn't be able to just send that to Paradis.
2 - They're past shifters that were summoned by Karl Fritz hundreds of years ago to guard the walls and install fear, preventing people from wanting to go outside of them.
Issues with this theory: I think Pure Titans are more than enough to put fear in people. Plus, Bizarre Titans attack the inside of the walls too, not just the outside.
3 - They're past shifters who haunt the island of Paradis, their minds are pretty much clouded and they still think they're at war, so they just assume that any human is an enemy.
Issues with this theory: How the hell would you hurt a ghost?
Am I thinking way too into this? Yes. Do I regret it? No, no I do not.
i love her
does anyone still play AoT 2? I've grinded literally everything i'm just struggling through Inferno mode (female titan/bizarre variants on Hard+ is genuinely deadly omfg two kicks and i'm dead and wasted 30 minutes), maxing out all the characters levels and trying to unlock whatever equipment i'm missing. i'm also trying to max my own character out by grinding inferno levels in Territory Recovery mode. and that mode is fun just by itself lol.
can we talk about hange in the aot game stroking erwins face repeatedly after he dies. bc idk about you but im crying
Aw cmon, what am i suddenly playing as Marco?
