Standing in the crowd with all the warriors and their fans around you made you feel dizzy and panicked. All you thought about was holding onto your lover, who indeed got a lot of attention, mainly from the reporters and journalists. That made you even more anxious about the situation, the need to look good and act normal at the same time, though your fingers are whitening as you squeeze the commander’s arm. Softly speaking to the interviewers, he takes a quick look at you, enough for you to know he’s acknowledged your state of mood, yet small enough for the journalists not to pay much attention to it. The reporters just keep coming and coming becoming louder with every second and you start to feel like throwing up, signalling your lover that you’re on the edge of fainting. When he looks at you he sees your pale skin, foggy eyes and how you try to keep standing, he answers the final questions and quickly drags you away to a quiet place. He takes his jacket off to lay it on the floor and make you relax a little, holding your knees up as he does usually, this being not the first time for you to almost faint. Once you get better you open your eyes, seeing an angel-like person softly smiling at the thought of you feeling better. He makes you sit up slowly, his touch is softer than anything you’ve ever experienced. He pulls you in his arms, resting his chin on top of your head and reassuring you how everything is alright and there’s no need to be anxious anymore. Places a soft kiss on your forehead when you turn around to hug him tightly, his masculine perfume doing magic to your mind. You feel like the world that was against you minutes ago had disappeared, now it’s just you and the commander in perfect peace.
“Are you feeling better, darling?” His voice is soft, almost whispering, it makes your heart melt. You nod your head whilst he pets your back up and down, protecting you from all the bad in the world.
