Kofi commission for @death0core !
Ap hadn't always been good to you, not really. If anything, you had never met someone as foul and disrespectful as him.
Ap hated humans, and most humans, if not all, hated him back. He also had several nicknames for you, "puny human" and "weakling" were just to start.
You had worked together for months, as much as AP nagged and spat about being your babysitter and not your partner. A fragile peace treaty had been set and you were partnered with Ap. You were a human field scientist while he was...an enforcer.
Naturally, seeing blood and gore became part of your routine. You were to accompany him everywhere, document whatever the mission was and bring back anything that was stolen and/or catalog just about anything.
A surge of mutated bad bloods had Ap very busy, which meant you were also busy.
Ap was also mutated, sure, but he told you it was different. Similar, but different. Ap was an honored warrior, his upgrades came from just about any superior being he hunted down. He earned them with his very hands, the bad bloods didn't.
Overall, it was a somewhat easy job, you stayed behind and only came out when Ap cleared everything, keeping guard while you did your collecting and testing.
Only that this time, it was a trap.
A surviving bad blood lured you out of your hiding spot with a fake message, which not only got you in a tight spot between his foot and the floor, but also made you sure that if he didn't kill you, Ap himself would.
You felt the blood ooze out of your nose and onto the floor, the pressure on your head making it hard to keep your eyes open. You groaned and tried squirming again, only to have his foot press harder, foreign words hitting your ears in a futile attempt of communication. You had no idea what he was saying, only that it was angry and probably cursing your weak ass.
He stayed like that while watching the door, waiting for Ap to come and find you both.
Looking back at the past few weeks while being squashed, you had your doubts if Ap would save you. You remembered every curse, jab and taunt he'd made at you and your species. He despised you, you were doomed.
Why would he care for you anyway? Even if he didn't hate the human kind, what would make -you- special?
You screamed as the bad blood lifted his foot briefly only to slam it down once more. The tears started flowing as your anxiety and panic increased along with the pain in your body.
You cried harder when the door before you opened, smoke briefly clouding your vision, although you knew exactly who was behind it. You gasped as Ap's figure came into view.
You had never seen a more murderous look on his face. His eyes met yours for a second before locking back up with the bad blood's.
You expected a bargain, some taunting, maybe. You didn't expect the ear splitting roar that came out of Ap's chest as he jumped a whole room to tackle the bad blood to the floor.
You screamed and curled up into a ball as the weight on top of you suddenly vanished. You tried bringing your hands to your ears as the crashing and fighting noise was too loud for your ringing ears.
Your arm was definitely broken and all you wanted to do was cry. You closed your eyes and felt your chest rising and falling so fast you thought you'd pass out.
You sobbed as the noise died down. One of them was dead, and depending on the result, so were you.
You didn't open your eyes nor did you call out. You just waited, small and bleeding on the dirty, wrecked floor.
You felt like a child again, covering yourself with your blanket, the magical shield that would repel any evil that lurked in the darkness of your room. Only that this time there was no shield, only vulnerability.
You let out a short scream when a hand touched your shoulder, eyes snapping open to face your fate.
Your eyes met a familiar face, covered in green blood splatters that weren't his. Ap was catching his breath as he crouched over you, checking you over as gently as he could, clawed fingers running over your skin.
"Your arm is broken." He started, doing a once over he always did after missions, "I will cast it back in the ship. You have a concussion, some lacerations but nothing too deep. You will live." He says, sighs. Relieved.
You stare at him through bloody eyelashes, "I- I thought-"
He shushes you, the sound coming from the back of his throat in a 'chhk chhk chhk' rather than human shh. He pushes his hands under your form, lifting you up as gently as he could.
You groan and hiss, clutching your arm close to your chest as he gets up from the floor. You have a look around as he starts walking, catching a glimpse of the headless body in the corner of the room, you frown and lean against Ap's chest again, shuddering when he starts purring for you. You liked the sound.
You let Ap follow the medical procedures he promised you when you reached the ship again. "Reporting can wait." He said, you were grateful for that.
You clean up before he dresses the wounds properly and has to cast your arm. He has you sitting up at the little med bay he had in the ship, pressing the bandages to your cuts, eyes focused on getting the adhesive to stick on your skin rather than his claws.
You don’t say anything, doing your best not to bother him while he works, despite being tired and spent. You kept thinking back to that moment, when you were pinned down and about to die. You thought he wouldn’t come for you, that when he saw you like that, it’d be the nail on your coffin.
You come back to the present when Ap touches your broken arm. He holds your hand with one hand and stabilizes your forearm with the other, “It should be okay with just a twist and a cast, but you-, are you well? Do you feel faint?”
You’re confused at first, why is he worried? Then his fingers come up to your face and only then you realize you’re crying.
Oh.
“I’m sorry, I’m just stressed, I didn’t-, I didn’t think you’d come back for me.” you sniffle, using your good hand to wipe away the tears, catching the way Ap involuntarily squeezes your hand at your confession.
“Why would you think that?”
You don’t really meet his eyes. You almost feel silly but the answer is so obvious to you, you scoff. “You don’t like humans man, besides you talk about this ‘showing your weakness’ thing all the time. That dude had me bloody and dying under his very foot there.” You frown, “The only reason I didn’t die was because he was fucking stupid.”
Ap hears you and shakes his head, “I would have never left you behind.”
You shake your head, a fresh batch of tears threatening to fall. “Why? You have no reason to. If I died, you’d report what happened and you’d get a brand new ‘puny human’ partner the very.Next.Day.”
“I don’t want another partner.” He growls, sighing. He lays your hand back down and cradles your face with both hands, tilting your head up to look at him. You felt his claw tips press into your skin as he looked you dead in the eye.
“You are the only human I have ever let get this close to me. Hells, the only -being- to get this close to me. I will not let you die nor do I want you to get replaced. You are mine. My human.”
You felt your cheeks heat up at the words, Ap lowered his head, resting his forehead against yours. “I wish you had told me this after I snapped your arm back into place.” He sighs, pulling back again.
You laugh, feeling your nerves getting the best of you as he picks up your arm again, “It really wasn’t planned.”
Ap shrugs and says, “It’s been a rough day.” Before twisting your arm back again, you let out a scream before feeling your head getting lighter and your vision blurry, cold sweating before passing out.
You take a deep breath as consciousness finds you again, only this time you weren’t at the med bay anymore.
The sound of rain was the second thing you registered as you looked out the hatch like window Ap had in his quarters. You blink a few times, feeling strong arms tighten around your middle and a purring sound picks up from behind you.
You smile as you snuggle closer to Ap, feeling the upgraded yautja rest his head on top of yours. “I get why you like this shitty planet.” He scoffs, “It’s just a big waterhole.”
“A peaceful one, at least. My favorite planet.”
He hums, adjusting your casted arm under his hand, “I know.”

AP scoffed as he rounded the bed, eyeing his future mate like he was prey. He watched as the human backed up against the wall even more after his little laughing fit. He stops near the wall, leaning against it as he surveys his human.
“Listen-, whatever you’re planning-.”
“Why didn’t you bring food?”
The man gasped, eyes darting everywhere as he made sense of what just happened. “What-?” AP scoffed.
“Your ‘backpack’, you came all the way here and didn’t prepare yourself, why?”
He gulped, shifting from foot to foot on the soft bed, “B-Bears, there are bears around-, I couldn’t really-.”
“And you left your precious fishes behind?” AP asked, tauntingly, his tusks forming a smirk at how restless he made the human feel. “Man, what the fuck is going on? Who -are- you? Why-, Oh shit, stay where you are-.”
AP stepped closer, tilting his head to the side as his human trembled in his spot. AP rested his hands on the bed, slouching so he could come eye to eye with the human. “You are a feisty little thing, aren’t you? So brave.” He half purred, half mocked.
“I-I talk shit when I’m nervous-, that’s all.” He stuttered, holding up his fists like he could take AP in a fight. “Hmm, you sure make shitty decisions when nervous too, it would seem.” He rolls his eyes, retreating from the bed. “You were not supposed to be here.”
The human sputtered at that, “You come after me, stalk my house, stalk ME, and -I- shouldn’t be here? You got it twisted, alien-,”
“Call me ‘alien’ once more and I’ll put you exactly in your place, ‘Mr. Merman.’ ” He growled. The human gasped, and by all the gods, he looked away, embarrassed.
“Oh? Learning something new about yourself, is it? Surprise, human. We are compatible. Highly so, even.” AP said, opening the door to the main cabin, retreating the backpack.
“Compatible? How can -we- be compatible of-, compatible of anything?? What are you? A riddle maker? Am I dead? Is this hell?”
AP laughed again, tossing his backpack to his feet on the bed, the man scurrying to pick it up and stand up again, checking his belongings inside of it, picking up the water bottle, looking at it like it had offended his whole family. “What did you do with it?”
AP scoffed, “Let me guess, your bottle is made of metal because plastic harms nature?”
The man scowls at him, “It’s important, you wouldn’t get it.” he uncaps the bottle, having a look inside, trying to decide whether to drink it or not. “What do you know about my planet?”
AP rolled his eyes, “I don’t care about your planet. Everything I know I learned because it was necessary.”
He shrugged, “Makes sense, I guess-. Hold on, what are you doing here? Are you the alien bear that caused those murders all those days ago?”
AP lifts a finger, “One.More.Time. And I’ll forget how endearing you look.” The man swallow thickly, “...It was me, yes. I had…things to solve.”
He watched as the human rested a hand on his forehead. “And just what is your business with me? Wait-, I don’t actually want to know. And what do you mean endearing? Do I want to know what that means?”
AP laughed, “Probably not.” He watches as his human’s knees shake a bit before giving out under him, sending him falling sitting on the bed. AP approaches the bed, towering over the now sitting human. “Now…Why don’t you tell me what you’re really feeling?” He says, lowering his head closer to him.
“I-I don’t know-, I’m scared-,” He says, looking down to his lap, avoiding AP’s gaze. AP rumbles through his chest, “And beyond that?”
“I can’t believe this is happening-, I never thought-, I’m confused.”
“About what?”
“All of this-, I should be fighting but I’m not, I should be running, but I’m not-, I don’t understand.” He closes his eyes tightly, nearly jumping out of his skin when he feels a huge hand close around his chin, lifting his face. “You’re not fighting because you’re mine. I chose you. Your body understands this, even if you do not. Yet.” He says, “You’re not running away because you belong to me. With me.” AP gets closer to the man’s face. “You came to me with your own legs, did you not?” He says, purring when his human opens his eyes to look at him again. “H-How did you-, I-.”
“The difference between your species and mine is that yours tries to think when you should act. Trust your gut. What does it tell you?”
“...That you’re not going to harm me.” He says, trying to believe his own words, AP nods, “Go on.”
“That I should-, I want-, I-. Fuck, I can’t say that-,what did you do to me? Is this what brainwashing is?”
AP chuckles deep in his chest, bringing his human’s face closer to his, “I have done nothing more than expose myself to you, you made the decision yourself.”
“Is that how it works with your species? Wherever you’re from? You just-, look at someone and they know?” He makes a confused face, expression scrunched up in AP’s hand, still holding his face. “How can that be?”
“I can sense you, feel you, rather than just seeing. I know excited you get when you think about me. I can smell it.”
“You w h a t?” The man looks up at him, speechless, nervous, embarrassed. He looks away quickly. “I can’t-,”
“You can.” AP says, withdrawing his hand, grabbing the man’s arms instead, pinning him to the bed, standing over him.“You better start being honest before I lose my patience.” AP says, not missing the way his human closes his legs tighter after hearing his growl.
“You-, you’ve killed people-, I-,”
“Yes, I have. Humans that tried to dissect my people alive and steal our technology.” AP said, the man sighing and closing his eyes tightly. “Fuck.”
“Still sad for them?” AP says, one of his thumbs messing with the fabric of the man’s sleeves. The man shakes his head. “Why me?” He asks, AP looks at him again. “Because you’re special.” He says, lowering his face to his when the human averts his eyes again, “Do my words make you shy?” He purrs, “I can see it, how your heart rate is quicker, but not from fear. How your face is heating but not from strain. Your scent is sweet against my tongue.” He snarls, feeling the human’s arousal coming off of him in waves. “You belong to me.” He says, the man gasps under him, letting out a soft moan when AP nuzzles into his neck.
Kofi ask for @sunsetslasher54 !
They asked: Can I pretty pleased get big mama, wolf, and ap, with an s/o who's been taken by the government to use as leverage against them?
So these are the reactions I thought up!
Big Mama;
Big Mama is an experienced hunter, so she’d definitely have a plan traced down to the smallest details to go get you and make any and everyone suffer greatly for ever breathing in your direction, let alone lay a hand on you. You would know within you that she wouldn’t leave you behind, no matter the circumstances. Big Mama wouldn’t wait for things to get ugly to go get you. Fast and efficient, she’d get in, get you, murder any other humans on sight, get out and then blow up that shithole to bits, politicians, scientiests and anyone else be damned. Prepare for a weeklong of not getting out of her sight. It does take her a while to actually relax again, but even then, she has taken certain precautions, should you ever need to part to do anything.
With Wolf, you’d be scared. Not because you didn’t trust him but because you knew he would have to put all of this into perspective and then act. Being an Enforcer, and a damn good one at that, it is Wolf’s job to ensure nothing gets leaked to anyone, their technology, their language, habits, facts, nothing, to anyone. So even then you knew he’d be coming for you, but would he still view you as his beloved mate or as a weakling that could have possibly told on his whole species? While he wouldn’t harm or you leave you behind, Wolf would feel on edge for a long while after that. He did blow up the entire facility you had been held captive in, but was that enough? Even being stoic and viewed as unbothered, he’d need constant reminders that you didn’t say anything, that everything was safe with you, you had endured the consequences. He wouldn’t ask this of you, the reminders, the reassurance-, but in order to placate his thoughts, they’d be needed.
With AP it’s pure bloodshed. Satisfying, messy, quick and very very gory rescue. To AP, humans are definitely inferior, maggots even. His human was undoubtedly superior to whatever else human scum walked on earth, so to think humans had the audacity to lay hands on them and hold them hostage against him? A rescue is in process, of course, he would never leave his beloved mate behind, his special thing. However, a bloodbath would also ensue. AP wouldn’t hear any pleas to stop, even if they came from his mate this time. They took what is his, and even if he is taking it back, he’ll teach mankind a lesson;
Not to fuck with a mutated enforcer.
Kofi long ask commission by @sunsetslasher54 !
They asked:
“ Can I please get Ap, wolf, big mama and the trio with a goth s/o who's like 5 foot and tries to look intimidating with their clothes, makeup, and large platforms? Thank youuu ”
AP thinks it’s cute, like the way a small dog barks their heads out to other big dogs who could very much murder them on sight. The thing is, this small dog also has an alien, mutant dog companion who actually instills the fear here. Either way, AP also thinks it's cute because he likes you and he sleeps very well at night knowing he murdered every and anyone who ever so much looked at you funny.
Wolf thinks it's almost funny, almost. Wolf is intimidating by nature, his achievements, the way he walks and just him alone already deliver the message very clearly. He is not to be fucked with and everyone knows it, so when you’re seen by his side, the message really does set itself in. The baddest of couples.
Big Mama will beat anyone who doesn’t think you’re intimidating, because you are! You are her precious little intimidating human and nothing or anyone will ever doubt it! If you make up, clothes and platforms don’t instill instant fear into the hearts of men, the shuriken she gave you for your birthday sure will, so no worries there.
With Berserker it is fairly obvious that you are intimidating as he’s only seen with the utmost intimidating people, of course. He’s a criminal, and a very wanted one, so you’re with him? Intimidating. You’re his friend? Very intimidating. You’re his m a t e? Prime intimidation. No one tells you otherwise because they very much like living, and that’s exactly how it should be.
Tracker. Tracker thinks the way you dress is hella cute, he himself never really saw a human dress like this and he loves it a lot, the leather and the spikes really call to him. Will make you tusk earrings for maximum intimidation along with a hound puppy at first. Don’t worry, it will grow into a merciless killing machine very soon.
Falconer. Falconer is more of the silent intimidation style, he doesn’t really need words to make someone shit their pants and you absolutely learn this with him. Ever heard of teenage girl glare? Prepare for Yautja death stare, works just as good, if not more. Falconer’s side eye game is also mad strong. All in all, you both make people feel chills down their spines when you walk by. Perfect.
I read your "Swimmer's tide" fic and I'm absolutely in love with your writing style. Here because I got worried about you not updating it for a while, and hoping that things get better for you. Thank you for writing such a delightful fic that made my morning ~
Hi Anon, I haven't updated that fic since literal June of last year-, but your comment made me happy, so I wrote one more lmao hope you enjoy it, thanks for being sweet ❤
Swimmer's tide, chp 6.
Shaking his head at the, yet again, passed out human in his hands, AP walked at a steady pace back to the ship. He would be in a hurry if he had doubts of his mate's health and safety, but he knows what a human that's sick looks like, just as he knows what they look like when they black out from fear, and this was just the case.
So, he had come find him, eh? Brave little thing. Stupid, very much so, but brave. He wouldn't accept any less for a mate. The man was...a man, and that alone already put him at a disadvantage. Fuck, if he wasn't so -interesting-.
AP had been taught from a very young age not to play with his food. He was taught to eat it while it was fresh, while it was hot. Not to waste it. To savor it.
All his plans of savoring his mate went down the drain with his decision of coming to find him.
Nothing that a little talking wouldn't solve, though. As ironic as that sounded.
The only talking he ever did to humans was taunting, threatening and then laughing at their dismay. It sure was going to be interesting.
A soft mumble made AP look down at his arms again, to the limp figure resting against him as he walked. His face was a mixture of confused and troubled, even asleep. AP couldn't blame him, he knew he was terrifying. He liked it that way.
But you couldn't be terrifying to your own mate, could you?
Well, not to a human one, anyway.
As much as AP wanted to feel bad for acting on his instincts and seeking this human out, he didn't. He changed this man's life forever and he couldn't find it in him to feel guilty, he was selfish.
And possessive.
Decades and decades for him to finally find connection only to leave it behind? Because his mate happens to be human and lives in a shithole? With a shitty society? Not happening.
AP could and would give him anything. Any material possessions, anything he wanted killed, skinned, dead. Anything. And, he could also be soft for him, just for him.
The whole package.
Who could say no?
As AP neared his ship, he clicked a few times, his dogs running inside, straight to their kennels. AP himself lazily strutting inside, tapping the close button on his way in, not looking back as the door closed behind him.
Focusing on the human at hand, quite literally, AP walked over to his resting chamber, lowering him to his bed. The backpack was strapped to him, which AP quickly set to work, claws easily pressing against the rather primitive 'lock' that connected both strap ends on his chest, hearing a rather satisfying 'click' as it came undone.
AP held him upright as gently as he could, pulling the backpack from him, carefully taking each arm out of the loops, resting them on the bed again. Looking for any reactions, AP laid him out again, looking at the backpack in question one more time.
Shrugging, AP unzipped it, going through the contents in it as his mate had yet to wake. He found water, his "cellphone" communication device and a medkit, no food.
No food?
AP looked back at the sleeping form, eyebrows set in a questioning, mean look. No wonder the idiot fainted.
Shaking his head, AP dropped the backpack to the ground, uninterested in it now. Resuming his waiting time, stretching before making himself comfortable.
Hours later, he stirred. Feeling his head pulsing with pain, he moved a little, feeling around before daring to open his eyes.
He laid on something soft, surprisingly soft, considering he'd been taken by a monster. Oh God, the monster. Slowly cracking an eye open, just barely, he surveyed his surroundings. No monster on sight. No moving, no dogs, nothing. Just him and in a very big room with very big very, oversized furniture.
Sitting up, he looked around, taking in all the details. He was sure whatever took him was an alien now, everything was so strange, so otherworldly. The metal on the walls, the reddish hues from the lighting, the foreign feeling fabric underneath him, so soft but sturdy as he pulled on it.
He should be panicking, he really should. But his backpack wasn't with him, he had no means to call for help, to say anything to anyone, it was just a matter of time until the thing knew he was awake and came for him. He had seen too much, now in the gut of the thing's ship. Was he even on earth, still? What alien would take the time to take him to space just to kill him, right?
The more he thought about it, the more puzzling it was. The thing had been stalking him, that was clear, from watching him at the pool to breaking into his house, to watching him at the pool again-, and almost give him a heart attack, and a bruised knee-, to now make him all nice and comfortable on its -own bed-, what the fuck was going on?
Head snapping back as a fizzing sound came around the corner, he saw the end of a metal like door slide up, some smoke coming off of the other room. Swallowing dryly, he watched as the thing's leg came into view, muscles flexing as it walked inside its own room. Gaze running up, he locked eyes with it, watching as its expression somehow resembled one of satisfaction. Like it was waiting for him to come to.
"Shit." He moved up on his knees, the thing taking a step forward, making him stumble back into the bed, crawling backwards until his back hit the cold wall behind him, the creature stalking towards him.
"Fuck, fuck, fuck-, no, no, no! Stay back-, stay where you are!" He yelled, standing up on wobbly legs, pressing against the wall behind him, trying to either fuse with it or go through it like a ghost, god knew he looked like he'd seen one, "Holy shit-, you're a big bitch, fuck-" He rambled, his brain doing whatever it could to talk a not-from-here being into stopping dead in its tracks.
It somehow worked, it stopped, only for it to start….laughing. At him.
Big bitch? He called him a big bitch, first thing after waking up. After realizing he was alone in his very ship, nowhere to run to. AP laughed in a way he hadn't in a long time, shoulders shaking and tresses covering the sides of his face as he did. This sure was going to be interesting.
