A bit about the new place, since I can talk about it! It’s the first floor of a building, so there’s toooons of space. It’s the oldest building on the block, but all of the floors are original hardwood(!!!!) and has functional pocket doors from the time period(!!!!!!). So that’s awesome. Also a washer/dryer and most importantly A DISHWASHERRRR DEAR GOD.

In exchange for no pet fees, the garden... if I can call it that... has fallen to me to take care of. It’s been neglected for about three years, and so it’s basically 99% weeds right now. I don’t think I can get to it before frost, but hopefully in the Spring I’ll have time to really work on it and plant lots of pretty things. C:

I was really happy in my little potato palace, but... my current landlady is turing the whole place into an AirBNB location, so it’s time for me to scurry! I’m so excited, new job, new apartment NEW ME NEW AGHHHHHHHH SO MUCH NEW

I really, really love Mackintosh roses. Charles Rennie Mackintosh was a Scottish art nouveau artist and architect, and often used his stylized roses in his motifs. His wife was Margaret Macdonald, one of the "Glasgow Girls", and an illustrator in her own right. Two of the pieces are hers!

I just didn't notice how many Mackintosh pieces I had in my house till I took photos of them all, LOL!

Going through Homestuck cosplay tags and getting pumped for cons this summer. All Homestucks are precious baes and should be protected at all costs. Unless they are assholes then they can just leave. We look out for each other and no matter your level of craftsmanship you are totes perf guys. You got into Homosuck? You rock. You got caught up? Fuckin awesome. You just started but you already like it? Hell ye you do. If anyone badmouths you, fuck them because they are absolutely not worth it.  And because you are.
