The rest of the apartment is still being put together, but my bedroom is complete, and I spend most of my home time there anyhow. 😉
Welcome! This is my favorite spot in my room. My bed/couch. 😍
Night mode! Those books in the corner are for donating. Be proud of me. There are three full bookcases in the main living area that don't fit in my room. XD
Possibly the most useful corner, that little tower is originally a decorative plant stand and houses everything from my jewelry boxes, electronics box, candy stash, coin collection, and a Ty kitten. 🐱 The Newsies box and some future @boxnumberfive projects can be seen here. I love my posters. Hobby Lobby. 😉👌
And that little nightstand is technically a shelf to hang on a wall but it is wonderful as a mini sidetable.
"And if you look to your right, you will see the ever-elusive species: organizational closetus." Honestly I'm just proud of how organized it is right now. And I had a small empty drawer so during the day I just throw my pajamas in it lol. That left corner is a self-contained bag and not nearly as precarious as it looks. Why do I have so many clothes? These doors are usually kept closed for #aesthetic / not crowding the space. Also because that wall sticks out of the building so right now my closet has its own refrigeration.
My cat calendar (closest I can get to having a feline here), marker/corkboard that will soon be filled with busyness, WINDOW, hidden trashcan, and misc drawer set.
Bookcase A, with all my cds and then my writing craft books. The back of that poster is broken, I may buy a replacement frame or it may just stay propped there because I like it. That little lamp is a wax warmer and makes my room smell like home.
Bookcase B! It was hard figuring out which books would stay in my room when the majority are kept out, but I settled on my nicely completed series, theater books, and then my coffee table books/notebooks/journals/binders and Bibles. 📚📖😊 Then there's my poor lonely guitar. Hm, oddly, those letters atop the shelf do not appear to be an "R" for "Rags"....
The second best thing about my futon bed (first: it being a futon) is that there is space for so much storage underneath! All my shoes and box-making supplies are here. 🙌🙌
Fairy lights are the best. Got these for a couple dollars at Christmas clearance, and with the strand on the tower next to my bed, I turn off the ceiling light and have a cozy reading nook in the evenings.
