I know I said I would be writing these these in order, but I just had to jump to Sailor Moon Super S again because there’s an amazing life lesson in this episode that ties in to what I’m about to do with these posts going forward — adding alt texts to the gifs!

Anyway! Our girls are at a dance party! Most of them are having a great time, but Makoto……not so much.

Ami comes over and finds out that Makoto is blaming her height on the fact that she hasn’t been asked by any men to dance.

So Ami asks Mako to dance! And Mako accepts!

It’s quite possible that Ami asked herself something akin to “How can I help this person feel welcome and included?” It’s also very possible that she’s been dreaming of this since she met Makoto.

Either way, it ends up being one of the most adorable (and iconic) scenes in the entirety of Sailor Moon.

And look at how much more fun Mako is having!

Look at her go! And ignored no more, as an added bonus.

But yeah! Just like how Ami wanted her good friend/future girlfriend to feel included, I’d like for everyone interested in these posts to be able to enjoy them, thus I’ll be adding alt text to my gifs from now on! The plan is to go back and add alt text to the gifs in my old posts, too.
