Playing around with some shading and showing off Apa’s-ecto body. It’s a pretty fun part of his lore, actually! Due to the severity of the trauma loosing his brother caused it had a direct effect on the nature of his magic! Due to his adoration for his sibling, and feeling incomplete without his magical signature, his magic did it’s best to partially replicate said signature as a coping mechanism.

He ain’t perfect, but it’s been a hot second since I’ve tried to animate. But this is an important moment in Apa’s story, the moment where he finally become the sad bastard I know and love. But it’s also A way to show off his skull eyes, and also about how fast his emotions can get out of hand.

It’s been awhile since I’ve messed around with concepts for Apa, so here’s the sad bean having a bad night and a smoke on the couch while watching Napstabot tell his brain rots. Another note for new comers, no he isn’t Blue, but he is a version of Blue but sad and just generally p upset, but don’t worry I’m working on a comic for him, it’s just taking some time since the great hard drive corruption of Feburary, and life in general swamping me.
