What are your thoughts on ... Fem Naoya(like born a girl)? I think she'd still be a misogynist, just the internalized self-loathing kind, do you have an hcs about her? I wonder if she'd still end up dyeing her hair.

Because she was born in the Zenin Clan, I also believe she’d still be misogynistic. She’d view herself as “better” than other women because she “enjoys the boot on her neck and submitting” to men. Basically, she’d be a huge pick-me and be very male centered. She’d most likely see other women as a threat and still be very narcissistic.

I do believe she would still dye her hair, have piercings, etc. A huge part of Naoya’s character is being a hypocrite. She’d put down other women for being alternative or non-traditional but then proceeded to get a bunch of piercings and bleach her hair. (It could be used as drawing attention to herself too, along with being hypocritical. Maybe she thinks the alternative fashion is used only for male attention? Like how a lot of men fetishize goth girls.) She would want to be the first woman a man sees when walking into a room.

If Naoya was a woman, I think she’d be even more pitiful than her male counterpart. Depressing, even. Her self worth would be very low, and she’d cover it up by competing to be the “better woman.” She’d shame other (non-married) women for not being a virgin, and judge any other woman for just looking in her direction if a man is present. I think deep down, she would hate herself for being a woman. She would hate having to submit and be perfect. To be a woman is to preform, and Naoya won’t stop preforming until the day she dies.
