Explanations:

Noord-Brabant, Friesland and Gelderland hit puberty late

Utrecht hit puberty early

I couldn't be bothered to fix Flevoland's fringe

Making some sort of teenage photo collection with the provinces for proper character designs! They were all made with picrew

I will fix Flevoland's fringe and some other mistakes later

Bonus:

Friesland and Gelderland are going through their angsty-teenager phase.

(yes I know the look 10 but these were made with picrew cuz I cannot draw so gimme a break)

Also Utrecht looking almost as classy as Luxembourg!

((Oooh, this pains me to say but Leentje [Flevoland]. I LOVE the little girl so much, but she's barely got any history since she was created last century. Literally. She's the one made out of reclaimed land from the sea, and got the province status in 1986.

Fun fact though, Ludwig tried to kill her off during the development by stabbing the dikes while retreating at the end of WWII as a form of last retaliation.

One other fun fact is that the city of Urk is actually super old and has been yoyo'd between several provinces throughout history since it was an island, and with the advent of Leentje, they just... shoved it onto her.

But other than these little tidbits, Leentje doesn't have much history nor backstory as opposed to the other provinces because she's so young.))

Utrecht: "According to my little brat brothers, as they texted in the family group chat; she was scared, then curious, and then I was called in a hurry to go babysit her. She won't stop crying, I'm going to go insane any second-.."

Dit is de Belastingsdienst, hallo... is er iemand thuis? -SPQR

Translations:

SPQR: "This is the tax authorities, hello... is someone home?" Flevoland: "Pappa! Peeing authorities!"

Belastingdienst sounds kind of like plassendienst, Leentje can't pronounce such a long word yet and made her own word. Tim is very concerned what she means by this.
