Aphmau and Ein

Hey so the Ein/Aphmau thing makes me want to vomit like a little.

I genuinely don’t understand how people treat Ein as some poor misunderstand character. The way he treats Aphmau, especially when she’s controlled by the forever potion, is just disgusting to me and honestly, it kind of triggered me because its so similar to an experience I’ve had with someone.

This is my interpretation: but the whole forever potion thing and Ein’s treatment of Aphmau strongly implies SA. Genuinely, the fact that under the potion, she changes into lingerie-esque clothing, and how Ein talks about her as “his pet” something to “play with” . Also, I’m halfway through MS Season 6, and Aphmau in one episode reacts with utter hatred describing how Ein used her and treated her as his plaything.

She’s sexualized by Ein and made to do things without her consent under the influence of the forever potion(which is essentially similar to being drugged).

Also, even though Ein had multiple people under potions, his dynamic with Aphmau is different because of his obsession with her and crush on her in PDH S2.

I just needed to get my thoughts out so yeah.

hey, season 7 of mystreet was announced, do you think it would be bad for me to watch it after all the stuff aphmau did?

I personally dodn't think so. While I don't respect Jessica as a person, let alone Jason, ultimately Mystreet and Diaries is something a lot of us really cared for. Of course you'd want to get closure for hte series.

I personally won't be watching it, as I was far more of a Diaries fan than I was a Mystreet fan, but I think its something you're free to make your choice on.

If you don't mind me asking, what's the problem with Aphmau? I've only heard a few things about fetishizing a year or so ago, but aren't sure on other things.

A bullet point of some. highlights

-one of her few POC characters is a human trafficker who drugged, transformed, and sold Aphmau and Laurence

-Mystreet had a three-four season long storyline that's plot twist turned out to be INCEST. Aphmau's half-brother stalking, drugging, mindcontrolling, and marrying(?) her .

-Jessica (Aphmau's cc) has had her children voice act in her series and has their full names on the internet.

-Jessica made Mystreet's Aphmau and Aaron based on how Jessica met her husband. by being younger than a freshmen talking online to a senior in high school and falling in love. along with many other Redflags throughout that series

-her very-much-so "child" channel which features her irl children has consistent themes of sexual harassment, sexual assault(grabbing asses) stalking, and misogyny (FOR SOME REASON??) as a joke and acceptable thing (Kattelyn and Travis, Kawaii~Chan stalking and taking pictures of Aarmau dates, etc)

-again this lady literally has i THINK all of her children's names, ages, and pictures on the internet, has them voice-act in her series, that has incest, sexual harassment, drugging, humantrafficking, all for her child audience.

also she wrote nsfw for the characters but i don't think that's SUPER awful since it's. her ocs. just a bit weird considering AGAIN. CHILDREN CHANNEL

Just to save you the time in explaining. I don't mind offering this because, unfortunately I have experienced the bullshit of her channel directly and my memories simply refuse to yeet those experiences. Might as well use it for good.

I've noticed people here talking about Aphmau being crappy, and as an introject from one of her series (Mystreet- I'm Aaron Lycan), I'm honestly so disappointed. She had potential, but then she just doubled down on the awful. Good blog, by the way! Sorry if that seemed overly negative.

what’s an introject? sorry if i’m dumb- I haven't kept up with Mystreet or Aphmau in anyway past Emerald Secrets, and BARELY even was interested then. Never even finished season two of Phoenix Drop High.

But you’re not being at all negative! She really, really did have potential, I think she could’ve become a serious writer or showrunner if she wasn’t just a toxic bitch more concerned about acting like a cutesie anime protagonist, that physically can’t take responsibility for ANYTHING-

I honestly sort of believe Jess is a colorist since in her official art, her darker/mid-tone are whitewashed. If she really cared about her characters, she could of at least tell the artist to change her characters skintone so they can look like their minecraft version, but unfortunately she never done that. Plus, she never calls out artist who whitewash her characters in art and just stay in the shadows while her fans fix all of her little messes she could easily clean up herself.
