Kat peeled the bandage from its plastic, smiling at the little girl she tended to accidentally favor when she nannied. She'd decided to bring the kids to the park today, since it was so nice out and they had so much pen up energy. She pressed the bandage over the scrape on the girl's knee, kissed the booboo and patted her cheek. "All better?" The sweet little girl chirruped in agreement and trotted off, accidentally spilling Kat's styrofoam cup of sweet tea all over the shoes of the person on the bench beside her. "I'm sorry! I'm so sorry!"

Tino settled himself onto the couch, grateful for the chance to rest. With summer coming, the kids had been absolutely wild in class today. All he wanted was to watch something horrifying and distracting on Netflix before finally facing the stack of papers in his laptop bag. He'd just selected Silence of the Lambs when his phone began ringing persistently.

Chiara was stressed. She made this blatantly clear; a tremble traveled through her fingers to the papers she held, her mouth contorted every time she bit her cheek and more annoyingly, she was tongue-twisted. Fuck. My. Life. Christ, how easy would it be if that was the only line she had? Instead, she hadn’t only 30 lines but 30 pages. “Fuck me up the asshole tenderly.” was what she thought she had whispered. The person next to her, certainly begged to differ.

Finally, I got a whole week off. Time to go and actually enjoy myself! Which now that I’m thinking about that sentence makes it sound weird!
