API Hackday Comes to Denver for Startup Week 2012
API Hackday is a series of hackathons that began in the fall of 2010 and has now visited over 15 cities across the globe. Next Saturday, October 27, API Hackday is making its Denver debut, as part of the city's inaugural Startup Week.
API Hackday was created and is organized by three of the most active API-driven, developer-focused companies in the world - Mashery, SendGrid and Twilio. In each city we visit, events are orchestrated by seasoned developer evangelists (at least one from each company) that bring a ton of knowledge and experience (based on hundreds of hackathons attended) to the show. We combine our passion for hacking and helping with complementary strengths of like-minded, local companies and mix in plenty of tasty food, caffeine and refreshing microbrews.
It's a recipe that has consistently resulted in massive creativity, from developers and designers that possess the talent to build amazing apps in a matter of hours. At the end of the day, all of that hard work is rewarded through the respect and appreciation of one's peers; and as if that's not enough, we also throw in some badass gadgetry and gifts for the most impressive hacks.
It's FREE for all attendees and as a participant, you can count on meeting cool new people in your community, learning about new technologies and tools, flexing your coding muscles and breaking away from the daily grind by working on a project just for the hell of it.
