After tennis treat of roast duck on rice, at Hong Kong Kitchen, Apirana Ave, Glen Innes. Asked for extra ginger and spring onion topping (but surprised to find there was an extra charge). But you can’t have roast duck without it. It improves it 110%. Today’s duck was a big rough and chewy, the rice not well cooked (or yesterday’s) and a lot of indiscriminate sauce action. Maybe my dentures have lost their bite due to old age.
