I like to think that the Sqaud has a ship (I’m thinking it’s something like the Normandy), and all four are on there and one day Doom Guy walks in holding Isaac from his arms like a child would a stray dog, asking to keep him.

That man can just sense Isaac’s got that will to rip and tear and that he’ll be a valuable member of the team- the method of presenting him is less than formal. But, Isaac is fresh off either the Ishimura or Titan Colony, has no one or no where to go, so he joins the Squad in defeating the Horrors- as the ship’s engineer, because if it ain’t marker related, I think he’d rather not be on the front lines. So he just deals with the ship stuff and kindly turns down Doom Guy’s invitations to join them on the battlefield.

I need everyone one to know when I call dead space 3 Isaac a soggy wet cat, I am directly thinking of this specific image of a senior tomcat:

Exactly the same vibes. He looks just as pathetic and straggly.

Knowing Isaac's lore, especially in the remake and dead space 2, has convinced me he has dumpster cat vibes. Probably less smelly. Unless he's been around necromorphs in which case...yea, he's on par with the stray in the trash. But overall? Sad pathetic stray cat of a man.

Especially in his behavior. The love Triangle is stupid as fuck. However it only gives Isaac more points towards pathetic tomcat.

i want good things for them i want isaac to be a silly goose in downtime i want john to be an overly cautious bastard i want a complete breakdown of all stoic pretense when they realize theyve made it home i want them sitting and drinking hot chocolate together and maybe isaac’s got a little extra in there to keep the edge off. its okay he deserves it. and i want them to take a little nap. a long nap. together, preferably.
