Death, it appears, prefers gentlemen to ladies. Women don't just outlive men, they consistently outlive men at every stage of life. More boys die in utero, in infancy, in adolescence, in middle age, at every stage. That's why nature makes more of them. But why? What's so fragile about guys?
Its's nice to see women coming out on top for once, even if it is out of ones control. The fact that a man's "need" to be big and strong is actually killing them earlier is ironic. The things that make a man a man is really what is destroying them. This post makes me question if men and women are really supposed to be built that much differently, and also if being manly is a bad thing. Is it worth dying early? Some of it is out of their control, but the stress that men are putting on their bodies are shortening their lives. The buff and strong men that are apparently the "ideal guy", is actually killing them (literally).
