Grab that unused 3 ring binder you have laying on your desk. Yes, the one with the plastic page sheets in it. You have a printer and access to things like Google docs, word, a printer with ink, and a search engine, right? Good. Use the search engine to look for stuff you are most likely going to need to know. Knots, fire starting, anything that would come into use. Take all that information you've gathered and put it into the document. Save. Print. Stick it in the binder. Put it somewhere you know you will find it.
Good luck.

Make an attempt to desculate a situation before it gets out of hand. Something so simple as keeping your voice monotone and body language calm will make an outcome 100% better then what it could have turned out to be.
If you tend to jump straight to yelling, ask yourself, "why do I do that? Is there anyway I can catch myself before I get out of hand?"

If you are considering buying weapons for the apocalypse, know these beforehand:
Does the knife that you really want to buy have a rat tail tang?*
Do you know how to properly swing/strike any object?
Does it look cheap? (Not in price but in material)
Do you know how to maintain it? (Ex: sharpening your blade properly)
* - personal recommendation; get a full tang knife or a switch blade to save yourself an eye or an arm.
Learn how to Do It Yourself...
[[ I love learning how to do stuff myself. One of the things that I've taught myself how to do is to make aglets out of straws. It takes a while to make them but it's better then ordering some other plastic bits on the internet and waiting for them. This was all done using really simple tools; a lighter, my fingers (ouch), and pliers to save my fingers.
Always remember that if you're going to burn plastic to do it in a vented area and try not to breath in those nasty ass fumes. ]]
