How do I even start one of these?

Hi, I'm Ellie – the face behind apodyoopsis

The most you probably know about me is from what I have opted to share over the last 4-5 years, which really, isn’t much at all. But here, in my first blog post, are some things ill let you in on my life about.

Ellie is just a nickname, but I’ve been known by this name since I was born

I was born on the 7th of September 1995 making me 22 and I was born in Canterbury, United Kingdom

I currently reside in Auckland, New Zealand and I moved here in 2006

I have three degrees – I have a Bachelor of Arts majoring in criminology and sociology, as well as a Bachelor of Arts (Hons) in Criminology.

I love playing football (soccer) water polo and swimming.

I’m currently working as a lifeguard

As I write (and publish this) I am moving to Brisbane, Australia in 11 days.

I'm in a relationship with a lovely man since July 23rd, 2017

I have a huge passion for blogging, makeup, gaming, photography and traveling.

I also love looking into murders, mysteries, and disappearances (yay criminology!)

Over the last couple of years and in particular the last few month I’ve been thinking of what I can do to expand this blog and the content to which I place on this page. I've gone from idea to idea and not one has been able to stick, so I guess this is where this idea of doing weekly blog posts has come in. Doing weekly blog posts allows me to keep my mind occupied, especially since I've finished my degrees at university (it feels so slow but actually goes so quickly) and also allows me to share my own experiences with, well, everything.

Ideally, these posts will specifically be dedicated to summery and adventure type posts, but I'm open to ideas if you have any. I would also love to be able to expand and do youtube at some point, but again it just depends on circumstances, time and all of that.

But for now, you can expect weekly blog posts on this page, every post will be WEDNESDAY at 8 pm or look at the hashtag #apodyoopsiswrites and it’ll appear there.
