Max was nearly done packing his things, like hell he’d let those scrap heaps get away with one of the few lombax artifacts left in the galaxy. However he suddenly stopped when he was just about to zip up his travel bag. Damn it, what about Talwyn? He couldn’t leave her on her own, true she was a teenager but…she was still young. What if thieves or runaway criminals came to the station? The markazian removed his hands from his bag and turned to look at the door. He knew one solution to that problem, true it would be asking a lot of those warbots he picked up earlier that month but it was better than leaving his daughter totally on her own. With his mind made up the explorer turned back to his bag and zipped it up, then made his way to the main room of the station. Apparently everybody was already there waiting for him. “Cronk, Zephyr, I was wondering if you could do me a favor.” He paused, gaze trailing to his daughter for a few moments before returning his attention to the two machines. “Look after Talwyn while I’m gone. I promise I won’t be long, a few days at most.” At first Cronk and Zephyr looked shocked upon hearing this request, but after a quick glance at each other they both seemed to agree. “Alright Mister Apogee, we’ll do our best to look after Miss Talwyn, don’t be gone long now you hear me?” Zephyr finally responded. That caused Max to chuckle softly. “I promise.” With that settled he turned to Talwyn and set down his bag, then pulled her into a tight hug. “I’ll be back soon, be good while I’m gone.” After giving her forehead a peck he quickly picked his bag up and headed out to the hangar. Then took off after the pirates.

Oh lord above, she looked just like her mother. Max stood in front of Talwyn in utter shock and silence, seeing her alone felt surreal, but the resemblance? It was so much to take in. The old markazian finally reacted, gently wrapping his arms around his daughter and pulling her close to him in the tightest embrace he could manage. Almost as if he were afraid of losing her again. Suddenly he started to shake, then tears followed suit, before the old man knew it he was weeping. A mix of several different emotions over taking him. He couldn’t do it anymore, he couldn’t be strong. Too much had happened. 

“I promised I’d come back.”

“This is gettin’ ridiculous! One day yer bolts are gonna get so rusty we ain't gonna be able t’ attach yer head anymore!” 

Zephyr couldn’t help but be irritated, especially since he was the one stuck looking after Cronk’s head.

Crime is universal, as there will always be those wishing to enforce laws onto a section of space that held large populations. This of course would cause clashes to those that live in the more lawless regions of space. Many accept the rules of whatever laws is made in those sectors, however some would rebel....and others would show their own version of a middle-finger in places that were outside lawless space.

The situation happened to be the last part, as what was meant to be a mere car hijack turned into a full mayhem situation. The culprits were five military armored rabbit-like creatures, all of them locked and loaded to the teeth. The car kept racing forward till it ran out of fuel. This caused the car to fall and hit a nearby train station.

Now three of the five rabbits were now all that remained of that, all of them speaking and yelling an alien language to each other while trying to run off. While two of the rabbit creatures were adults, the third was appearing to be a pink rabbit child that was bleeding and limping. One of the adults mocked the child, earning a middle finger and some strange set of words yelled to them.
