character: apollo [he/hymn/sun] ok after like a month of procrastinating i finally did it. here you fiends

i'm honestly really happy with how this iteration of sun's reference came out because now i feel his design is more balanced out with Amaris' now? also now he feels more protagonist-ish to me personally since he has more stuff going on, and that's exactly what i wanted to convey since. He is a protagonist. also the leg vines on hymn aren't supposed to be any specific plant, they're mainly just decorative

fun facts bc there's quite a lot of little details in this drawing

— The doodles on sun's collar and leg pouch were done by Amaris and Holly. — The stickers on his leg pouch are also from Amaris and Holly. — The pattern of his stripes are directly based off of the "ticked" pattern in cats. — The plant he's holding is supposed to be thyme. — The plants hanging out of sun's pouch are supposed to be feverfew [left] and tansy [right]. — This one is a bit hard to see, but the shapes of sun's cheek fur and ears are supposed to come together to resemble a moth. — His bracelets were made by Holly.
