MISS ANIELA, THE QUEEN OF THE FEMININ BEAUTY
Miss Aniela is a UK-based photographer team, globally producing and shooting art, advertising, and fashion. Miss Aniela creates a fine balance of contemporary creativity. Her work centres on a fusion of traditional imagery and digitally enhanced models, interweaving in a surreal composition.
Miss Aniela has been exhibited by the Saatchi Gallery, Photo Vogue Milan, Prins Eugens Waldermarsudde Museum in Stockholm and the Houses of Parliament.
The work of Miss Aniela is rich and poetic. She often places in the center of her pics, a woman : she exalts the beauty of the feminity. Each photo contains very beautiful dresses, worthy of the greatest masters of fashion, or, sometimes, dresses came straight out of a parallele universe, like a wonderland.
All theses universes seem to be a dream, where we can see sea monsters, giraffes, pets, lions or somethings very strange like a boat in a room, a woman subjected to a defect of weightlessness, or a flooded room… These images have been shot all over the world, from French castles to classical English mansions, Iceland, Canary Islands... Many of the pieces are inspired by the 16th century.
How not to imagine a very powerful movie where the director of photography could be Miss Aniela ?
Miss Aniela, by her hard work on light, on the beauty of these women, and on the color, reminds us the films like The Apollonide directed by Bertrand Bonnello, which tells the story of the Parisian brothel called Apollonide until the beginning of the twentieth century, the life of the Apollonide and its prostitutes, its regular visitors, theater of drama, habits and life.
The work of Miss Aniela is a reference that must be anchored in my mind, and I think it is very important to know her in order to have an aesthetic vision of the image, and be able later to recreate this atmosphere in movies that I would love to produce.
