It’s lunch, time to openly think about the abandoned body horror B (C? D?) plot of apoppy 2: the Spade Job. I couldn’t do this because:
1.) What the absolute fuck? This doesn’t match the established Apoppy vibe. No curse words and no red blood are the only rules, and they're breaking a lot of em.
2.) the world isn’t ready for future government assigned assassin Conner.
3.) The Spade Job is complicated enough switching from Helen and Rayne's flashbacks to the current time kidnapping chase, on top of Anthony and Heze's Atlantis chaos. (Which tbh is half written because I got absorbed by the polyam villain revenge plot)
Also I made a good playlist for the High Gods only like 5 years after they ditched getting their shit handed to them by a crystal skeleton on a beach.
One day I'll get back to doing 2 comics at once but noooottt rn hahaahh
maybe for a fun break/exercise I'll try making the apoppy website(Tumblr) look good and actually upload Spade Job pages to it instead of just tapas/webtoon. I'm paying for a domain name, might as well use it.
