Her main job at Monitech is building marketing strategies and communication with clients, but she also maintains Monitech’s web pages and blogs, adds new posts and all those “trivial “ things that bore others, but never her!
Responsibility in social media
Today, Tuesday the 29th of May, it’s a warm and sunny day. Starting in the morning I prepared myself some coffee with cardamom, which I had brought to work few days ago. My main task today was to make our aportuj fan-page more attractive for our Facebook fans. Monitech - Aportuj fanpage.
New media, which mainly consists of Facebook or twitter is treated as an obligatory part of marketing in all kind of business, products or companies etc. Everything is for people and it is fine when a responsible and intelligent person is doing it (I’ll let you think that describes me!) I have started with new media and I would like to explain something about how it works.
As you may have noticed, these days there is more and more spam and ads being sent via social media. Most people find this tactic irritating, myself included. I personally believe in creating a good and honest relationship and establishing the right type of communication with the public. When the company, brand or product have that. or at least have of plan of how to do it, they may think about spreading it via social media. Otherwise a Facebook presence won’t help. New media is an opportunity for more direct communication with the public and building a relation which we really want…But like in everything, we need to think before taking action.
