TWO SUPER EAGLES PLAYERS GET CAF AWARDS 2017 NOMINATIONS

Super Eagles duo of Victor Moses and William Troost Ekong have been named by African football ruling body, CAF, among 30 nominees for the Africa Player of Year 2017 category.  Moses has been nominated for his contribution towards Chelsea’s triumph in the EPL earlier in the year, and for his immense efforts in helping Nigeria qualify for the World Cup to be hosted in Russia next year. Also, Bursaspor of Turkey’s center-back, William Troost Ekong has been ever present in the defense-line of the Super Eagles, hence, was named in the shortlist. The Aiteo CAF Awards 2017 Gala, will be staged January next year, in Accra, Ghana.

The Royal Observatory Greenwich commissioned this short video of my little family up in the Welsh Highlands for the APOTY exhibition. I was later awarded the Sir Patrick Moore Prize for Best Newcomer for the Venus Transit photo I entered into the Astronomy Photographer of the Year competition.
