Where do they work?: The Neukdae Tavern

Background: At the young age of five, Luhan and his parents uprooted their life and fled their small home China after being discovered by hunters.They moved around the country endlessly. As they moved from town to town, Luhan’s curiosity of his surroundings only continued to grow. He was forced to understand that hunters were dangerous. He learned to always watch his back and fear hunters. During his childhood, his parents often complimented him for his looks and would use him to get things from people. Luhan didn’t agree with his parents’ actions but never spoke out against them. It didn’t matter anyway, as his parents were soon picked off by hunters. Luhan barely managed to escape with a few cuts and fled the country to live with an aunt in Neukdae Falls. Shortly after arriving in the new town, he was enrolled in school. It was only a matter of time before his peers began to notice his looks. His friends in high school never stayed for too long once they realized he was more than just a pretty face. Lovers were worse, until he met a boy whom he truly believed he loved. The two were steady for nearly two years until Luhan gave the boy everything on a cold winter night. Within the week after, the boy left Luhan with more tears than he could count and a broken heart. From that point, Luhan became more careful with his heart and set up walls to hide his true emotions. He graduated and moved on as much as possible with his life. He currently works at the Neukdae Tavern as a waiter for some extra change. In his free time, he wanders the town and the forest. He helps his aunt when he can, as he feels indebted to her.

Personality: Luhan is friendly and outgoing, but because of the way people treated him for his charming appearance, he can’t tell the difference between someone who likes him for him and someone who likes him for his physical features. It’s fact that upsets him occasionally and makes him question himself. He doesn’t show everyone his feelings easily because of this, and prefers for people to think of him as a happy-go-lucky, carefree guy. Inside, he buries his insecurities and sadness in hopes that no one can find them, opting for showing a happier side of him as much as possible. He is loyal to his pack and his friends. Violence isn’t his cup of tea; he’d rather talk things out first and find a peaceful solution before fists are raised. Luhan is slightly romantic an often thinks of love. He loves solitude the best (though it’s not always possible) because he feels like he can be himself, whatever that is. As he wandered all of his life, he never found an identity to associate himself with. He isn’t sure exactly who he is or what he stands for. He’s a little lost soul in the world, but he’s determined to make the most of it.

Background: 

After the Oetori were run out of China and their numbers decimated by Hunters, Godfrey took up as leader of the pack after his father’s untimely death in the battle against them. For awhile Godfrey took none of his pack leader duties very seriously, only hellbent on revenging his father and then rebuilding his life. Realizing that his pack would only continue to be picked off or marked as untouchable for turning to humans and hunters in desperate times he found himself forced to take on the role again. Not wanting to leave the wolves he truly cared about behind. Leading didn’t come easy for him. Although possessing the temper and mentality of an alpha he was often selfish and thought very little of the people beneath him. This resulted in other alpha’s in his pack questioning his leadership and he was forced more than once to reassert his dominance. Knowing he had to get himself together and not wanting to disappoint his widowed mother Godfrey returned to medical school after dropping out following the death of his father.

The rigorous discipline of school coupled with the grueling nights of internships and constantly relocating his pack out of fear for their safety in his absence he finally begin to buckle down and be the leader he was always meant to be. It doesn’t mean he’s giving up on getting revenge for his family but he knows that taking on the Hunters alone would be impossible not to mention after settling into Neukdae he’s forced to fight and protect his territory while rebuilding his ranks. Although a doctor and having sworn an oath to protect and heal those that he can Godfrey will always put his pack first. He is a doctor in the hospital only — agreeing to help any who come to him for aid whether Hunters, humans, a rival pack or anything else. But all bets are off once he sets foot outside the hospital doors. 

Personality: Godfrey is generally stoic and can seem intimidating upon first meeting because he doesn’t talk as much as he used to. Those who have known him for awhile however, are aware that he has a fun side. Willing to laugh and goof off if someone can get him to loosen up enough. It’s just hidden beneath the fancy white coat and all the stubble he refuses to shave off. He is extremely protective and can be considered loyal if he cares about someone enough. While not easy to talk to in the beginning especially he is a superb listener. Although he can’t guarantee that his advice will always be the best. He finds it extremely difficult to trust anyone outside of his pack. Being outsiders as it is he perceives most other wolves to be a threat outside of hospital walls and while he is not quick to physically fight his verbal jabs are no less cutting. Don’t mistake his unwillingness to battle it out for weakness however. He can just as easily be angered and irritated as has been known to blow up without warning if provoked enough. He is still an alpha after all.
