Letter of Enthusiasm
I have figured out that since I've jumped feet first into blogging, anything else gets put off. Bad! To ensure that I don't do this to the most important goal in my life right now I need to blog about it. Finding a sustainable job... That's what I am doing today! So here I go... A freewrite to my potential employer.
To whom it may concern: I feel I'm being bold here so it may be the first time you have seen something like this I don't know, and I can only hope that it may be the "it" factor that lands me this job. I hope that this along with my truly stated educational philosophy, and colorful resume will give you enough documented evidence to ensure that I am the best candidate for your schools next Health and Wellness teacher... or at least give me a call so I can prove it to you in person. When you think of Health and Wellness, you may as many others do, think snooze fest, sneaker shoes, and snickers from the back of the book. Well, not this potential teacher. To me, Health is the best and most rewarding subject to teach heres why... 1. The content is easily applicable to each and every students. All student (past, present, and into the future) have/will have a body, and needs to learn how to properly maintain it... So I can't wait to have the "when am I ever gonna use this conv" 2. It's fun... Or at least it will be with me! 3. It's an outlet! Kids need more activity in their day... That's what I learned from Student Teaching, and that's where I come in. There's 3, if that's not enough to convince you then give me a call. I've got more! ... If only I could say exactly that in my cover letter. If only. So now, I'm out the door and headed to a coffee shop to figure out how to say those exact words through auto apply and dreary resume data entry. Until Next Time,
