Just got back from The Museum of Science and Industry and it was AMAZING!!! First of all, being a met major, I just about died when I walked into the Science of Storms exhibit. And I was in heaven in the genetics and Henry Crown Space exhibits. And ohmygoodness, the U-505 was by far probably my favorite. It was just breath taking. It's the only German submarine on display in the United States, and the sight of the submarine was absolutely breathtaking. It was huge. I don't know what I was expecting, but it was so amazing to be able to see a U-boat in person, and actually go inside it and have a tour (the tour guide was fantastic and he was also quite attractive with a very pretty voice). There will be tons of pics to come :)
