Been wanting to draw some more Appeldad with the family, and this was something that popped into my head based on some (less adorable) family photos people have taken. It works a lot better with ponies. For the new people, the ponies here are, from top to bottom:

Appel tries to impress his marefriend(?) with the power of flight! Only, Appel can’t fly since he’s an earth pony, so he asks Xaviera, an old acquaintance, for some assistance.
I wonder how long Skylar buys it before she figures it out.
