Phew!
Came back from my school fair! After working a two hour shift for a booth (it involved physical activity) and going around and having fun, I'm pretty tired, but hey, it was fun nonetheless! I can't wait to come back tomorrow! :)
Depressed tiny who can't seem to get out of bed, being lifted and carried by their giant friend for short walks in the daylight. Feeling the sun on their skin does seem to help, as well as being close to and hearing the giant heartbeat right next to them.
Another reason I like G/t (and this can probably align with specifically parental/found family G/t) is the metaphor of vulnerability and protection it can represent. Specifically when a tiny is used to being treated poorly, maybe thinking they even deserve it to some capacity (when they really don't) then they meet a giant---who has to view them up close to see them, making the tiny feel even more vulnerable and exposed. Maybe they close up even more. Maybe they find any kindness from the giant as strange and alien. And as undeserved, because that's what their life has always been like. But they're such a looming presence---and their kindness can be overwhelming. But if such a great and huge creature can appreciate them, then... Maybe it... Means something? Maybe the tiny can learn to open up, and maybe even accept themselves?
But then the conflicting emotions happen when it's like "but those me-sized people were terrible to me! how/why does a giant creature cherish me so much?! someone is lying to me but i'm not sure who..........."
UGH!!! anyway. smiles
This is my main pitch for encouraging everyone who is a fan of wholesome G/t to WATCH ERNEST AND CELESTINE they make me cry I'm crying. I'm crying.

So, technically, they ARE the biggest audience they've ever had!
There's a lot of "cold tiny being warmed up by giant" which I'll always love forever and EVER!!!
But what about warm tiny being cooled down by giant????
A tiny who runs hot vs a giant who runs unusually cold. The tiny is constantly asking the giant for help to cool them down, especially on hot summer days. The giant happily obliges because that's their friend!!... But also if the tiny lays in their hands or on their forehead it helps them also warmup a bit. It's a win-win!!!
I would love to be. Teeny tiny. But it also would be frightening. But is whimsy stronger than fear? I believe it is
