“The Apple Pecker”
Myrtle, the wandering chicken, has a new favorite snack. It’s amazing to watch her go at it, pecking through the skin of the fruit and eating the entire inside of the apple, leaving only the skin behind. She proceeds to clean her beak in the grass and then meanders off in search of her next adventure (which usually involves taking a nap in the shade with Bernie, the St. Bernard. My favorite moments!😊). (5.26.18)
