applesauce is good but i always feel like a baby when i eat it, like what my goo goo ga ga ass can’t chew? like my mouth is too small to take a proper bite out of an apple?? but hey it was free applesauce in the breakroom, who am i to say no to free snacks?

anyways mott’s strawberry applesauce review bc it’s been a minute since i reviewed an apple (it’s other fruits season so i’m eating those instead mostly). uhh it’s sweet, a little tangy. The pink color is charming and the texture is enjoyable, pretty juicy since it’s already been chewed for me i guess. Not sure what apples they use for saucing. The little barrel container is very cute. I don’t know if it has strawberry in it or just strawberry flavoring but it’s not offensive, might be the source of the tanginess. Pretty nice, though i don’t think i’ll buy it for myself anytime soon.

apple review: baby bare gala apples

These apples are adorably small and a nice freckly red. The insides are slightly green? Wondering if they’re somehow underripe. I’ve had about three now, though, and they’ve all been like this. Super crisp and decently juicy but the flavor is a bit underwhelming. Not particularly sweet or tangy. I feel like the small size is the big draw here but that’s not enough to keep me coming back.

The price was good but I don’t think I’ll be getting more.

Me looking for a new kind of apple to review

SweeTango apple review:

Crisp, tangy, sweet, pretty great when inhaled in the passenger seat of your car while blasting “hard on for love” by nick cave and the bad seeds as loudly as your car will play it.

you’re taking your lunch break 2 and a half hours late because you got stuck at the cash registers the day before it’s supposed to snow, so everyone in the fucking county’s buying ungodly amounts of groceries.

You would be doing this in the break room but the coworker that you want to flirt with took his lunch break at the same time as the coworker that is also flirting with you but you’re not as interested in him as you are the former coworker. He just doesn’t match your weirdness the way he other one does unfortunately. Also you can’t blast a really horny song that loudly in the breakroom.

Good apple!

Had a red delicious the other day bc it was gifted to me and i really understand what people mean by an apple being mealy now. Which is a shame bc the flavor of a red delicious is great, it’s the most “apple-y” apple flavor out there. the texture is just terrible. A thick skin full of sand.

lady alice apple review:

Really good flavor, very fresh green tartness but also decently sweet. Texture is not my favorite? Flesh isn’t mealy but it’s not incredibly crisp either. The skin tastes good, but it’s got a give to it that combined with its thickness and the slight softness of the flesh makes for a sort of weird feeling bite.

I have a whole bag of them so i’ll definitely be chilling them and enjoying them that way going forward, maybe the texture will improve chilled? Not super drippy juicy like the snapdragons or cosmic crisps can be either. Good apple to eat upside down!
