ایپل نے آئی فونز کیلئے اپنا سرچ انجن بنانےکی کوششوں میں اضافہ کر دیا ہے۔ ایپل کمپنی نے یہ اقدام امریکا کی جانب سے گوگل کیخلاف مقدمے کے بعد اٹھایا ہے۔ ایپل کمپنی نے سرچ انجن سے متعلق اقدامات کو خفیہ رکھا ہے اور اس پر ردعمل سے بھی گریز کیا ہے۔ بتایا جاتا ہے کہ ایپل کی کوشش ہے کہ اپنے پرسنل سرچ کی مہارت کو ڈیولپ کرنے کے لیے اقدامات کیے جائیں اسکی وجہ یہ ہے کہ امریکا کے اینٹی ٹرسٹ حکام نے اربوں ڈالر مالیت کے گوگل کو دھمکی دی ہے کہ وہ اس بات کو یقینی بنائے کہ وہ آئی فون کے انجن کو محفوظ انداز میں اسی میں نصب کرے۔ اس صورتحال کے بعد معمولی سی تبدیلی کے ساتھ نئے ماڈل کے آئی فون ورکنگ سسٹم آئی ایس او 14 کا ایپل کے اندر جب پرسنل سرچ ہائیپرلنک ویب سائٹ پر ڈالے جانے کا انتظام کیا ہے تاکہ صارف اس کے ہاؤس ڈسپلے سے کیوریز طلب کر سکے، اور اسے کسی دوسرے سرچ انجن میں جانے کی ضرورت نہ رہے۔

اس کاروبار میں موجود لوگوں کے مطابق اب ایپل میں اندرونی طور پر ایک تبدیلی اسکے انٹرنیٹ سرچ فعالیت ظاہر ہو نے والی جگہ پر کی گئی ہے۔ تاکہ گوگل کے خلاف ہونے والے اس بڑے حملے کا تدارک ہو سکے۔ کیلیفورنیا میں واقع سلیکون ویلی میں قائم یہ ادارہ (ایپل) اپنے اندرونی اقدامات کو خفیہ رکھنے کے حوالے سے کافی بدنام ہے۔ تاہم یہ تبدیلی اس بڑھتے ہوئے خدشات کو ثابت کرتا ہے کہ گوگل سرچ انجن کا کوئی حریف تیار ہو رہا ہے۔ یاد رہے کہ ڈھائی برس قبل ایپل نے گوگل کے ہیڈ آف سرچ کا شکار کرتے ہوئے انھیں اپنے پاس رکھ لیا تھا، اس کا مقصد اپنے ادارے کی مصنوعی انٹیلی جنس صلاحیت اور سیری ڈیجیٹل معاونت کو بہتر بنانے کے ساتھ ساتھ اپنا سرچ انجن تیار کرنا بھی تھا۔ اس وقت ایپل اور گوگل دونوں اینٹی ٹرسٹ جنگ سے برسر پیکار ہیں اور یہ جنگ امکانی طور پر ڈیجیٹل لینڈ اسکیپ کو ایک نئی شکل دے سکتا ہے۔ واضح رہے کہ امریکا کے محکمہ انصاف نے گوگل کے خلاف 16 ماہ تک تحقیقات کے بعد مبینہ اینٹی ٹرسٹ خلاف ورزی کا مقدمہ کیا ہے۔
