Why I made this blog: I remember exchanging comments with @harryspaceshipmchale over on AO3 and she mentioned she was on tumblr, and I thought it would be a lot easier to discuss stuff with fellow Community fans on this platform. Turns out it was one of the best decisions I’ve ever made. Everyone was so welcoming.
How I came up with my url: Although I mainly post about Community, I have varied fandom interests. My url is a reference to the 5th Doctor from Doctor Who. Although not my favorite Doctor by a long shot, I was always oddly fascinated by his lapel of celery. It made no sense and was likely added in the spirit of 80s whimsy of the kind I find cringey as well as oddly endearing. But mostly I just like the way it sounds. It reminds me of Drew Barrymore’s character’s comment in Donnie Darko about the most pleasing phrase in the English language: cellar door.
