of course, why sketching people partying when you can break your own heart with an au in which ariko gets the plague and nish escapes the party as soon as she hears so she can get one chance to say goodbye before the life of the closest thing she has ever had to a family starts fading away without her being able to do anything to stop it.
but well, at least she gets one song to remember her forever (or just before she dies from the plague as well, who knows)
