Crushed || Silver & Kotone
A lone figure stumbled down the generously named path that led down from the heights of Mt. Silver, a trail of blood droplets marking his descent from the upper mountain. He weakly held his right arm close to his chest, the skin that showed through the tears in his jacket was angrily red and swollen, though that wasn’t his most concerning injury. His good arm clutched at an area of his jacket that was dark and wet, obviously the source of the trail of blood he had left behind him.
Though he looked weak and wobbly, probably from the loss of blood and the pain he was feeling, he had a sense of urgency as he tried to carefully but quickly pick his path down the treacherous trail. His exhaustion was starting to get the better of him though. He wasn’t sure if he could go much farther. Maybe if he just rested for a bit… Yeah, that was just what he needed. With a glance back up the path, he found a big rock to lean against and sat down to catch his breath.
Silver had messed up. He had forgotten how difficult it was to train a younger Pokemon, and Mt Silver was definitely not the best place to do such a thing. Especially when that Pokemon was a Larvitar he had caught in the same place. Though really, it was just plain bad luck that he managed to run into his Larvitar’s parents. It had become quickly apparent that they had not forgotten that little transgression.
In the end, it was Silver’s overconfidence that had him in such a predicament. He should have been much more careful. He should have been more prepared. He should have never underestimated an angry Tyranitar. And now he was paying for those mistakes.
He pulled his blood covered hand away for a brief moment, but the wave of pain that washed over him made him quickly replace it. If only his pokeballs hadn’t been damaged in that rock slide. If only he had Honchkrow or Feraligatr or anyone of his teammates beside him now. If only his Larvitar were stronger. Then he wouldn’t be in such trouble now.
It was then that he heard the sounds of someone nearby, someone in a hurry. He hated having to do this, but he was out of options. If he didn’t get help, there was a very real possibility that he might die up here.
“Hey!” Silver cried out weakly. “Whoever you are… I could use some assistance.” He could only hope that they had heard him.
