malec fic ideas i swear i will eventually write

-F.R.I.E.N.D.S. au where everyone lives in two or three apartments and just different friends scenarios

-Soulmate au where the whole “first thing they say is on your wrist” thing applies and Alec and Magnus both have really sappy and romantic words and they love that but when they meet it’s...not romantic at all

-corny human au that every fandom needs where someone (Magnus) goes under anethesia and wakes up and can’t believe they are with Alec.

-canon adjacent where Magnus teaches Alec to drive bc I fully believe Magnus randomly has a super expensive car parked away somewhere

I have so many malec fic ideas floating in my head but I’ve had the worst brain fog for the last few months due to a delightful combo of illnesses and medications

And I want to write but word recall is what I struggle with most and I get so frustrated because I’ve lost so much, and I’m not working anymore and I feel like I can’t even participate in fandom things I enjoy.

And it’s stupid but I don’t want people to read my writing and think I’m...not smart. But how self-indulgent to preface everything I write with like “I swear I wasn’t always like this! I have a fucking Master’s degree! But now words are hard and everything hurts. Please enjoy”

Anyway. I’m going to post some ideas I have just a reminder/motivation in the next few weeks to pick something small and at least try.

So I’ve fully snapped and just decided to lean into it. I haven’t had a secondary/fandom blog in like 3 years but I spend all my time weeping abt malec and the cast of shadowhunters and worrying I’m annoying followers on my main.

So here I am

I’m on mobile 100% of the time so I never have fancy links or anything and I have literally no clue what this blog looks like on a computer so if it’s hideous umm that’s why.

I’m thinking about writing some stuff so...we’ll see
