Not sure if this has been asked before, but I'm curious of your thoughts on Lohen's cooking skill! I presume he's a decent to great cook, since he could handle making gums and candies which requires high precisions

hello nonnie! hehehhh i have not been asked this and this is something that i DO have strong hc's about! not only do i think lohen is a good cook, but i think that he loves to feed his s/o...and probably uses a lotta spice and seasonings. my answer is ahead, it's kind of a long one!

so in my longfic a good bunny stays in her pen, i've got a domestic scene in chapter 2 where lohen is making breakfast for reader, and he also fills her fridge with bacon and apple cider and other stuff because she's got like no food ;w; i made some subtle comments towards this hc of mine in this chapter:

Lohen’s laugh is a low chuckle. “Morning, princess.” “Mm…g’morning,” you mumble. “You’re cooking for me…?” “Uh-huh,” he answers. “Guess I should have asked how you like your eggs… but I figured there’s nothing wrong with good old scrambled.” - like lambs to the slaughter [2/10]

“The only French words I actually remember from school are the food ones,” he says, setting his plate down next to yours. “And you were sleeping so soundly that I figured I’d sneak out and fill your fridge. Amongst other things.” - like lambs to the slaughter [2/10]

i also think he's a massive foodie—based on one of his open world interactions being at a restaurant, him talking about lohikeitto, the chilies he chews, how he "sprinkles more salt on the cut" in his sq, etc.

something that i really like to imagine for him is that gift giving is his love language. i hc that in his early relationship with librarian!reader, he wants to give her a bunch of expensive gifts, and she's appreciative, but she also asks him to calm it down. because wow is that a lot of money you have spent on her last week lohen. so then he goes to gifting food! he makes her work lunches!

this is really silly, but i want to eventually write a drabble where he makes her lunch, but it's way too spicy. now idk everyone's spice tolerance so i'm just gonna rationalize it by saying it is really REALLY spicy, like beyond thai/indian spicy, and lohen just doesn't notice cause he's so used to all the spice. i am sorry to the girls with super high spice tolerance but i just thought it'd be funny if it's too spicy for reader to handle and lohen immediately starts panicking! how will he help cool her mouth down? who knows 😏

now for my black! and/or ethnic!readers out there, i think this is something your parents will like about lohen. you're bringing home the whitest german boy, but by the gods, can he cook! they can look away from his more... weird habits when he's feeding 'em tasty food every family reunion xD 🩵

tldr: chai thinks lohen's a good cook and he loves feeding his girlfriend, and if your family values flavor in their cuisine, they'll love him for it!

(All) Big Three kids (+ Male! Thalia) accident end up in Ancient Greece

When Theo, Jason, Percy, Tyson, Nico, Bianca, and Hazel end up in Ancient Greece they’re all split up into three groups dictated by who their godly father is.

So it goes like this, Theo and Jason are having a reunion and freaking out and Theo is cursing Beryl out over abandoning Jason (and mentally cussing Hera out). They’re attracting attention from the people around them as Theo is taking his anger out on the monsters that come their way, Jason is trying to calm him down and think of how they’re going to go back home. But both are summoning storms and lighting, sparking whispers and rumors about two extremely powerful sons of Zeus (from the sane mother) who channel power from their father’s domain. Zeus sees the storms and lighting used by Theo and Jason, he looks to see where this is all coming from and sees two channeling lighting like it’s nothing and starts getting flashbacks to his early days

Percy and Tyson freak out as soon as they wake up in the middle of nowhere and realize where they’re at and Percy is actively crashing out at his situation, causing a storm in the background while Tyson tries to calm him down. Tyson suggests sticking to the coast and asking their father for help, Percy isn’t too sure on the idea actually working but since Tyson’s idea is the only thing they have he agrees on it. Poseidon hears two prayers for help from two threads with echoes his power and looks for where the prayers came from. He’s surprised to see a young cyclops and a young man with his features praying to him (don’t know if they’d go to one of Poseidon’s temples), he looks at their scents and is shocked to see the power radiating from them, and they’re also his.

Meanwhile Nico wakes up and sees a living Bianca in front of him and doesn’t know what to do, he’s also probably crying and breaking down. Bianca doesn’t know what’s going on but she’s happy to see Nico again, at least now she can hug him again. Hazel is trying to help her brother not crash out, she’s worried over what’s going on due to Bianca’s apparent resurrection and then being stuck in a strange place. However she also gets pulled into a big sibling hug by Bianca, who’s both surprised and happy to have a younger sister. They decide to take the risk of going to visit the Oracle to get answers, unlike the other two groups they don’t actively draw attention via creating storms. However Nico’s shadow traveling and Bianca trying to learn it so Nico doesn’t have to be the only one doing it (and getting exhausted) draws some shocked expressions whenever they end up in the wrong town or city. Bianca accidentally summons an army of skeletons once while testing out the untapped Child of Hades powers that she never got into while alive. People murmur about the strange trio made up of two young women (one far too pale for a normal person with a bow and arrows in her possession and another with mesmerizing golden eyes with a golden sword in her hand) and a young man (too pale and with too dark eyes, a black sword strapped to hip). The death seem to take orders from them, with the shadows being their favored way of travel. Hades is confused when the terrified prayers from mortals stark coming, actively promising that his three children (two girls and one boy) would be treated kindly while they stayed in their town

A funny dilemma Theo and Jason come across is that Jason cannot speak Ancient Greek—he can somewhat understand it but he can in no way speak it. Which leads to a merchant seeing him eyeing something and asking if he'd like to buy it but Theo is preoccupied—

Jason Internally: Fuck! Okay! Calm down and think! Modern english would be too weird! So what is the oldest language you know!?

Jason: ...*starts speaking in Latin*

Theo: PFT—

•••5 minutes Later•••

Theo & Jason: *Back on the road*

Theo: ...You know you're gonna have to respond to everyone we come across in Latin now right...?

Jason: ...*sigh* yup...

Jason (In Latin): Why is he calling me his son? I'm not his son!?

Zeus: What's wrong with his mouth?

Theo: We...weren't raised together, it would have attracted too much attention...

Zeus: Ah...

chai basing a bunny-boy-host!lohen x client!reader fic based on deco 27? it’s more likely than you think. working name is dummy romance, of course 🩵

reader may or may not be yandere, (depending on how the story leads me) but she’s def gonna be a mentally ill, parasocial mess! woopee! for anyone familiar with a good bunny stays in her pen, it’s basically going to be set in that universe, but we’ve swapped the role of the host (now it’s lohen) and client (now it’s reader)! i will say though, this reader will be quite anxious, shy, and have a history of being bullied.

themes: toxic obsession, transactional relationships, analysis of host club culture, expectations vs reality (particulary in regards to lohen as a host vs lohen in real life, and the reader's inability to handle this), (probably) all hurt no comfort :D 🩵 excited to share as always, whenever i get done with it!

Current thought, trying to pull me away from writing-

Finn and Elijah Salvatore and Damon and Stefan Mikaelson.

Klaus still gets to be weird about Elijah and Stefan.

Sage still gets relationships with Finn and Damon.

Damon gets left in the coffin because he is actively risking them since he took Esther's betrayal in turning him Badly(What do you MEAN mother sided with his bastard father over him? Killed and changed him without telling him anything? And after years of being her right hand and keeping the truth about Freya?)

Stefan who had been extremely attached to Damon then shifts his full attention to his next closest brother, giving Klaus an enabler and Stefan the distraction from his belief he failed Damon because if help Klaus then he's not a failure, it was just Damon.

Ripper issues become events to go behind the red door.

Finn and Elijah's relationship is still as complicated as canon but at least they're somewhat commutating. Finn was far more involved in raising Elijah as projecting him from their father, leading him to be possessive and Elijah to be 'clingy'. He doesn't fall for Katherine, but is suspicious of her closeness to his brother leading her to compelling him anyway for fun.

Elijah did fall for her but his feelings for her vanish when he learns she used Finn.

Finn does resent Elijah for tricking him into transitioning and is well aware of his little brother's need for his attention so he uses a cold shoulders to punish him afterwards.

Which worked until Elijah turned his humanity off.

Elijah's a ripper who is barely holding onto the wagon while Finn's perfected 'no harm' vampirism much to Elijah envy.

permin start hooking up, in the most fuckass locations btw it's rarely on a bed, and sneaking around not wanting the memory of them in their own personal spaces (well only pedro, fermin has a perverted urge to christen each room of his apartment and motorhome repeatedly but pedro said no/rarely allows himself the luxury/privilege to be fully enveloped in fermin)

in the beginning of their relationship, pedro topped <- bottoming is too emotionally vulnerable for casual hookups and such, and fermin bottomed <- pretty boy = bottom got stereotyped.

pedro wants to take care of fermin somewhat in a way to apologize without saying anything, like i think after a few times he's a bit service top-y. and like fermin feels like a bossy kid and pedro went along with whatever he wanted even tho pedro was the older one like :] okay 👍. you know? so same things are happening now

it'll take like a giant emotional/situational upheaval for pedro to even admit/suggest that fermin take charge which fermin is delighted to do (power bottoming to be clear), after pedro refuses to talk about/give it another go.

also like they are exclusive and dating at this point just without the formal label. well. in their way.

like a year later or even more tbh when they are more settled into their dynamic/relationship/fuck buddies/whatever. either pedro is content enough to suggest it or something bad has happened and he like needs fermin to take care of him <- it's bad sex because they are not in the right state but the emotional catharsis is insane

anyways pedro clams up about it but this time fermin is poking and prodding at him because he's seen the light, yada yada and settle into a more switchy dynamic
