Did I seriously forget to post that there is a third Rotten Roses volume out now??? Anyway it's out! It's about fujos and the end of the world and about loving fanfic to distract yourself from the end of the world. I'm actually working on the fourth one now. Lol.
Ok well an important thing that I’ve done in the intervening years is make a comic about fujos and existential crisis called Rotten Roses, which you can read some of online at http://rottenroses.neocities.org
Okay for this comic: I sort of wanted to do something sort of abstract (yet not sad!), play with negative space (no lineart!), and color something really obnoxiously. I don't know if I was successful with any of those things, or if I was successful if it looks nice at all, but HEY SOMETIMES I'M CREEPY WHEN I'M SLEEPY. K thanks.

Sometimes you write things in strange emo times in your life. Sometimes you draw them when you're having an even stranger time. Sometimes you look back, some time after, and think, "yeah okay, maybe that turned out alright."
Slightly redesigned the cover for this (more pink!). Mainly because I can't screenprint before SPX, so this (formerly inner cover page) will have to do. It'll be shiny!
I also think each copy will come with a specialized hand-written word balloon for Silver Sparkle. I think the first one will be "Fuck, I want a burrito."
Now, time to print things!
Oh yeah, I also was at a place in K-town (with a 20 foot Sailormoon mural!) and drew this piece of graffiti (sanctioned! There were markers nearby).

Hey Tumblr, sorry I haven't been around lately. I moved to Brooklyn. I got a job. And also! I have been drawing! Sort of. This is part of a piece I did for Awesome Sound #2, edited by the awesome Sean Knickerbocker. It'll debut at SPX this year. I'll also be at SPX in (yikes) 10 days, too, selling stuff with Laurel and Sasha. Yep yep.
