              was the first morning of being back home , months spent away due to the conflicting college schedules and the cramming for finals . bowie finally had a chance to get away from the tumult of it all for a weekend . early morning classes had called for him to be awakened before the rest of the household , sauntering into the kitchen with nothing but a clad pair of sweatpants wrapped around torso and disheveled hair from the triumphant night of sleep . lids are still heavy and knuckles are rubbing out sleepy eyes as he’ll grasp onto the handle of the fridge , grasping hold of the orange juice that seemed to be front and center . turning on heels , he’ll come face to face with the unfamiliar figure .. though they were a sight for his wearied eyes .  ❝  uh .. good morning there . do i know you ? how long have you been sitting there , exactly ?   ❞

there's  been  silence  since  the  moment  she'd  ran  up  to  them  ,  hand  pressed  to  the  center  of  her  own  chest  .  can  feel  heart  beating  against  ribs  in  a  way  that  leaves  her  wondering  whether  it  might've  been  better  to  show  up  late  .  at  least  then  it  wouldn't  feel  like  her  body  was  close  to  collapsing  on  itself  .  it's  only  when  breath  has  steadied  that  she'll  stand  up  straight  ,  a  million  &  one  apologies  ready  but  instead  what  comes  out  is  ,  ❝  you're  wearing  lavender  .  ❞  the  world  opening  up  &  swallowing  her  whole  would  only  be  the  greatest  mercy  .  ❝  sorry  ,  what  i  meant  is  .  .  .  sorry  .  i'm  late  right  ?  ❞ @aprilsfooled​

            “  i  wonder  what’s  in  store  if  i  don’t  love  it  anymore,  ”  placing  her  glass  down  on  the  marble  topped  counter  as  she  spoke,  her  head  lifting  to  look  at  the  other  who  was  in  the  room  with  her.  there  had  been  a  few  rumours  going  around  about  kaia,  news  outlets  posting  everything  without  substantial  evidence  but  she  was  always  warned  about  this.  a  part  of  her  was  worried  it  was  going  to  take  a  toll  on  her  career  but  she  wanted  another  opinion  on  it  and  she  trusted  the  other  with  her  heart.  (  @aprilsfooled​​,  suga’s  interlude  by  halsey  &  suga  )
