"Travel" is the theme for day 26 of the #AprilSipIn. I've been fortunate enough to visit a number of significant tea areas and one of the most memorable was West Lake (Xihu, also in Hangzhou like my previous post). This, of course, is home to the famous Dragon Well/Longjing green tea. When I was first venturing into the world of tea in 2013 I googled what the best green tea was and determined it was this type, so then I promptly bought a 100g bag off eBay for $13 with free postage. Despite it probably not being a great example of the tea, I recall enjoying it quite fondly! I never imagined a few years later I'd be at the place where it originated. #AprilSipIn day 25 is "tea recipe" but unfortunately I'm not much of a chef. However I've always found dishes that use tea (especially if you can really taste it) to be delicious, like this Dragon Well Shrimp Meat (#龙井虾仁) dish I had several years ago in Hangzhou. His Chinese tea ceremony was the first one I'd ever seen and his shop contributed a lot to my early interest in tea.
