Decided to fix several features in her appearance, such as coat coloring and desired physique. Also, practiced to draw a proper bovine head.

Practice - Legs 1

A simple practice of drawing legs for humanoid and anthropomorphic characters.

The main goal of this work was to practice drawing fur and to learn basic anatomy of different legs.

Practice - Hands 1

A simple practice of redrawing hands from a photograph without tracing object's shapes. Tried to understand object's basic shapes, such as circles for fingertips and rectangles for the main part of the hand. Made a hand-drawn pencil sketch before digital painting in grayscale.

Zoya Kovalenko - Traitorous strap

Beware of mischievous clothing!

Tried some new techniques in drawing, such as using circle shapes during sketching, painting in grayscale before coloring, and using "liquify tool" for adjusting shapes. Also, I tried to paint much less blurred shadows than before.

Zoya Kovalenko - Alluring strength

This is my first digital illustration created fully on my own, without copying shapes from the reference images. Regardless of the number of flaws, this illustration is a good step forward for me, especially in drawing fur and creating a complex structure of layers. I'm also happy to create my first original character.

Trying my hand in digital drawing

After several months of having doubts and pondering about my future ways in art (and practically just doing nothing), I decided to learn digital art due to its versatility and huge amount of possibilities.
