ahh im so glad you liked it !!

i don’t mind answering. it was an isolated piece so i’m happy to dig into it more. i try to keep things vague where i can so readers can fill in the blanks with their own imagination. but what i had in mind was the original reader that died was targeted by a curse due to gojo’s reputation. this curse in particular took the form of a water spirit who did take the reader’s life by drowning them.

as for it being the same curse. i like to play with the idea that curses are a combination of multiple emotions stemmed off of individual personalities. sort of like a puzzle piece to make a whole being. but the strongest thought/emotion is the one that breaks the surface and takes control of everything else.

so yeah it could have been the curse that initially killed her. or maybe it was another one that witnessed it all and snatched up the opportunity to be stronger. i mean, who wouldn’t take advantage of the most powerful sorcerer with promises of protection and all the cursed energy you could consume?

i really like dabbling into cursed characters because of their complex beings and the way they’re formed.

fractured kingdoms let’s me play with the idea of cursed energy trapping a soul and stripping away their memories but leaving their presence intact. almost like taking a doll and winding them up.

I reread to start a year and im just sobbing— its so good and i love the themes so much and this rare depiction OF BURNT OUT GIFTED CHILD KUROO MY HEART CANT TAKE IT

spoilers! Gosh I have so many things to point out in the fic that I adore, like the lengthy description when kuroo spills the soup, a really minor inconvenience but its enough to send kuroo spiraling down. how reader and kuroo took care of each others hygiene as selfcare. how he has a pinboard as an odd way of coping to remind him of what hes gone through. how he CALLS HIS DAD FIRST THING AFTER KISSING READER. How the fic ends up with kuroo in the hospital but everything is so much better

Also, your Atsumu fic broke my heart in such a bad way especially when reader said something like “you wont always have me” and atsumu looked like he never thought of that possibility. And how they said goodbye I just. please keep writing

crying. im in the middle of taking a math quiz right! now! and im just so tired from everything and i suddenly recalled your BURNT OUT FORMER GIFTED CHILD KUROO TETSURO AND?!?! WHEN I READ THAT FIC MONTHS AGO IT ALWAYS COMES BACK TO ME IVE JUST— kuroo was my COMFORT CHARACTER because he was this perfectly well-rounded guy who excelled in whatever he does and seems like the type to know what to say and do RIGHT?! BUT THEN YOU DEPICTED HIM THIS WAY AND THE COMFORT CHARACTER LEVELS JUST SHOT THROUGH THE ROOF IVE NEVER THOUGHT OF HIM THAT WAY WHENEVER I WAS DOWN I IMAGINED HIM SAYING ENCOURAGING WORDS AND HELPING ME GET UP BUT THEN YOU GAVE ME THIS FIC THAT TOLD ME HE WOULD SIT DOWN AND CRY WITH ME TOO AND yeah sobbing anyways as you can see the fic made an impact on me and i love it so so much thanks for writing it. i have more to say but i teally need to get back on that math test thank you again
