Addie the Talking Dog was adamant that I needed a short walk along the mountain ridge on the Appalachian Trail. A friend of ours living on the mountain has an outdoor camera that picked up a mother black bear and two cubs. I hoped she didn’t feel like a hike, too. The trail got a little bumpy so I had to watch my footing rather look out for bears. When I realized it was dinner time our pace picked up considerably!
