Incoming freshmen -- check it.
Well hello there!
It's me, Johnny Andow! I thought it would be a good idea to give you some tips on how to be successful during your first year in college.
We'll call it "Jandow's Pro-Tips"
I don't wanna give out to many free gems at once, so check back every thursday at 9pm to be enlightened! (ehh, i'm not that wise, but I'll try my best.)
Academics:
1. Communication is key. Your professor's care about you and your success. If you are not getting something or are going to be late on an assignment let them know ahead of time!
2. Don't worry about striving to be an A student in literrally everything. Unless you are shooting for Valedictorian or have a certain scholarship that requires a 4.0, pace yourself and accept a B- here and there.
Student Life:
1. Go to your hall events. They are legit! Even if you don't think they sound fun, trust me, it's one of the best chances you got to get close with your hall. My hall mate's became my best friend's.
2. Your Alpha leader is going to be very excited to meet you. Don't let it freak you out. They are just very happy people, who want to know your story.
Wanna know how I came to know all of this stuff? It's because I messed up a lot and have learned from my mistakes. So please, if you take anything from this post at all, take this: It's ok to make mistakes, it's ok to not be ok, and it's a new season, enjoy it!
Hey, if you don't mind...
