"Finally home..." he muttered as he pushed his apartment's door open, letting it slide shut behind him as he made his way into the room. Dropping his keys onto the small stand by the door he made his way further into the apartment, kicking off his shoes by the entry as he did so. Heading in the direction of the kitchen he reached the fridge, pulling a bottle of water out to drink. Bottle in hand, he then made his way into the living room, dropping down onto the couch, letting himself relax for a moment as he drank. Relieved that he'd been let off early for once, given how busy the cafe had been as of late and the long hours he and his coworkers had been required to work lately; and while he still had to be up early to following day to start another long shift at work he was content to at least get a few more hours of rest than he had been previously. Recapping the half empty bottle of water, he let it drop onto the couch beside him taking a the moment to glance at the clock on the wall. It wasn't as early as he would have liked, but it was early enough that he may be able to put a couple of loads of laundry to wash and maybe actually make something to eat before he had to head to bed for the night. Deciding that it would be best to get the laundry out of the way and then worry about dinner he stood up and headed in the direction of his room, grabbing the jacket he'd left on the couch as he went. Making sure he had whatever he needed to be washed before grabbing the basket he had in the corner he then made his way out of the bedroom and back towards the apartment's door only pausing long enough to put his shoes back on and grab his keys. Sure he had whatever he'd need, he left the apartment, locking the door behind him as he exited. It wasn't until he was in the laundry room that it occurred to him that the machines may all be taken and for a moment he thought he was out of luck and would have to come back later as he looked as each occupied machine. He let out a relieved breath as he spotted the one unoccupied machine in the corner. Reaching the machine he made quick work of loading the washer, separating what needed to be separated as he went.
