i agree. i didn’t mean to imply that it’s less of a problem here than it is in the rest of the world. it’s a huge problem here and it could get worse.

3.  What kind of animal would you bring to school?

Definitely a cat!  Especially since I could always use one of the school owls to send mail.

13.  Would you consider studying in another wizarding school?

If I did, it would be Beauxbatons.  Especially since I’m already fluent in French...

19.  On hogsmeade visits, what shops will you go to?

The candy store!  I would buy everything!  I have such a sweet tooth, it’s bad.  Aside from that, I would probably go to the Three Broomsticks.  I don’t really remember what else is in Hogsmeade aside from the shrieking shack.

it is on my to-read list. I’m now motivated to move it up priority-wise. I am due for a library trip this week.

omg yaaaaaaaay. if you want to do a read-a-long/book club kinda thing at different paces, let me know! i’m reading through the books on my own anyway, and i just couldn’t shut up about them. i NEVER see anyone talk about them, and i don’t know why.

Conor Friedersdorf is the worst!! I think I’ve read a couple pieces by Ta-Nehisi Coates--probably a few of the only good ones. But I refuse to give The Atlantic more views if I can help it. :-/

Since there will be some A Memory of Light spoilers in this, I’m going to go ahead and put this under a read more.

I’m answering this for navykillian as well!

Favorite Male Character: Mat

Favorite Female Character: Nynaeve

Least Favorite Character: Elaida

Favorite Ship: lanaeve

Favorite Friendship: Aviendha and Elayne (even though it can seem a bit more romantic at times).

Favorite Quote: The quote I always think of is “take what you want and pay for it.”  Mostly because it’s relevant in real life as well.

Worst Character Death (if any): Asmodean.  It was a weird death for me. It wasn’t really necessary in my opinion, and then it takes several books to find out who actually did it…  Plus he had just died and undied because of balefire, something like two chapters earlier.

This made me so happy you have no idea Moment: DRAGONMOUNT.  In the Gathering Storm.  I was so sad, and then so happy.  I was crying. In the middle of the student lounge.  It was quite embarrassing.  

Saddest Moment: Egwene’s death.  I was sobbing.  It was so awful, but so beautiful.  I will never get over it.

Favorite Location: Tar Valon.  It just seems like such a cool city (as long as Elaida isn’t the Amyrlin).  Not to mention the fact that the White Tower is there.
