mieliruoka is the proper way to say favourite food in Finnish, but most people would say lempiruoka or lemppariruoka rather than mieliruoka, when speaking (lempi/lemppari=favourite in this context though lempi also means love)
Aww that’s even cuter! The difference between standard and colloquial Finnish is quite significant, with effects on vocab to grammar, so that might take some getting used to...
